So they’re flying out there immediately today, I’m sure. When it’s an off day, can the opposing team go to the ballpark? Familiarizing the guys just brought up who’ve never played there before with the ins and outs and quirks of the stadium might be helpful.

Given they have two good LHP starters and three more in the bullpen, I'm not sure if I'd agree with that.

but you know they have gamed out every individual match-up and pitch type vseach hitter in every possible inning so it might not look like the simple 1st order estimate once they are through.

Hinch clearly wasn't playing to win with the pitching line-ups. Maybe the brain trust had decided they wanted Houston instead of Baltimore.

I think they wanted to win, but didn't want to disrupt their playoff plans.  I would guess Hinch is not happy that they gave up 9 runs to the White Sox.

Yeah would've liked to have a night game but given our lack of national star power I kinda figured we'd be one of the matinee games.

I think the later games going to the NL are simply a matter of not knowing who some of those teams will be until the conclusion of Monday's doubleheader.
