Jason_R
Well, thanks to the Tigers, it seems like the bye week came at just the right time.
Jimbo
The bye week is usually a bummer although now that we have the Tigers its not going to seem so long. I wonder how many Lions will attend these games. Seems like a lot of the players are pumped with them.
Motor City Sonics
Actually, I like the bye. All the focus can be on the Tigers. Plus the Lions have some nagging injuries and hopefully they can get Ragnow back and a few others can be healthy. I think the Lions are going to absolutely destroy Dallas next week. I mean, more than the Packers did in the playoffs. They won't need any motivation for this game and the Cowboys are doubting themselves. I am thinking something like 45-
Hongbit
The bye came at the perfect time as they have the difficult task of preparing to beat two teams next week in Dallas. The Cowboys desperately need a win and will be tough on their own but the real test for the Lions will be overcoming the undefeated NFL Officials. It’s going to take an extra special effort to defeat the zebras in Jerry world. They’ve been brutal to the Lions there in the past and it will most likely be the same again this time. Jamo will probably be there though.

I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Brad Allen get assigned this game as an arrogant "f- you, we don't care what you think" move from the officiating supervisors. NYLion
I wasn't a big fan of the early bye going into the season but now I think it's coming at the right time. The Lions have a tough stretch coming out of the bye and were starting to turn into a bit of a MASH unit so this will give an extra week for some guys to heal up. Jason_R
Micah Parsons week-to-week with high ankle sprain. PFT reports they are considering resting him for the next two weeks until their bye. He may not play against Detroit. Demarcus Lawrence on IR. Detroit has not forgotten last year’s game. I agree this will be a statement game.
Tigeraholic1
Hutch awarded Defensive player of the month. First Lion to earn that honor since DeAndre Levy in 2014. I remember checking pratice reports in 2015 or 16 I think hoping he would come back for months. Weird career ending.

I am thinking something like 45-17 I heard many Lions players had 2 games circled...Seattle and Dallas. I agree, were going to handle them. Also, they have some defensive injuries. Demarcus Lawrence will be out. And Micah Parsons may still be out next week. Those are pretty big losses for their defense. I don't think the Lions will risk Ragnow. He will probably be out a few more weeks. We'll want him for the rest of the season so why risk turning a partial tear of his pec into a full tear? And....this early bye week sucks. MichiganCardinal
Just heard KhaDarel Hodge's name get called in Thursday Night Football. I can't believe there is a veteran WR who was on that 2021 Lions team and is still in the NFL.

Glasgow could start at Center for probably half the teams in the league, and Awosika had a pretty good game against Seattle.

Mr.TaterSalad
This is the first year I'm picking the Lions to win. Normally, we'd find a new way to lose and the bye would squeak out a fluke win. I remember the one year when Nate Burleson broke his arm trying to save a Hungry Howie's pizza box from sliding off the car seat. I want to say that was during the by week also. Bye week sure got one over on us that time.

Back and forth game so far with the bye week. What a Moran.

Refs are not going to make a difference. The Lions are winning this game by at least 3 touchdowns. Not joking. I've never been more confident in a Lions win in my life. They want blood. There ain't a guy in that room (including the new guys in rookies) who are not red-assed about last year. The Cowboys are on their heels and their confidence is shaken. They could barely beat the Giants - who are one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Lions offense was off-kilter until the Seattle game. Now they are clicking and I think they're getting another major piece soon at the deadline, but they are not going to let Dallas win that game.
