Jason_R Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Where does this playoff run rate in Detroit sports lore? Quote
oblong Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Seriously… after they went down 2-1 it seemed inevitable. That’s the kind of comeback that shows a different team. It can’t be chalked up to luck. 2 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 I'm not sure if that graphic was right or not but it said that Ibanez pinch hit was the first pinch hit in Tiger history to put the team ahead. In history? Can't be... Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Skubal in game two on five days rest and game five (if needed) on four days rest? Quote
smr-nj Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 This is fantastic. Congratulations to the Tigers & all their fans. 🎉🐅❤️ 2 2 Quote

I had full confidence that they would not roll over even being down late. Amazing really. 1 Quote

IdahoBert Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Here I am isolated in central Idaho, surrounded by a bowl of mountains, and nobody to hold my hand during this cardiac of a game, but at 9 AM on Saturday morning — that’s right 9 AM according to MAX — I can watch the Tigers play the Guardians in the first game of the next series. Holding Houston to 2 runs in that 7th inning was huge. This Tiger team just keeps coming back. Defense, pitching and timely hitting will win SO many games... 1 Quote

If it's like the Lions, they charge season ticket holders immediately as long as you opt in during the season. Though tickets on StubHub aren't that bad right now. $83 before fees for the cheapest ticket. It's a 1pm game on a Wednesday though, so makes sense. 1 Quote
