Sports_Freak Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Remember that time Tiger fans thought they were robbed by the Cleveland left fielder who they thought short hopped a sinking line drive that could have given the Tigers a measly 1 run lead? Yeah, good times. 😅 1 Quote

RandyMarsh Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 (edited) Skubal side note, in his last 7 starts dating back to August he has gone 45IP giving up 5 runs TOTAL with a remarkable 49 to 3 K:BB ratio. In 6 of those 7 starts he has given up 4 base runners or less. Going back to his last 11 starts he has given up 1 run or fewer in 9 of them(2 and 3 in the other 2). Just an absolute monster run right when the Tigers needed it the most. Edited October 8, 2024 by RandyMarsh 2 1 Quote
oblong Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 The photo is a lot nicer when your team wins obviously. It’s a great story. 1 Quote

Its well rested and the schedule allows it be well rested with a modest work load from the starters. So that might mean scratching out a quick 3 or 4 on Boyd and Skubal is simply going to have to Skubal. Or, if someone else has another idea on how to win it, please, feel free to suggest. Quote
