RandyMarsh Posted October 8 Share Posted October 8 (edited) Skubal side note, in his last 7 starts dating back to August he has gone 45IP giving up 5 runs TOTAL with a remarkable 49 to 3 K:BB ratio. In 6 of those 7 starts he has given up 4 base runners or less. Going back to his last 11 starts he has given up 1 run or fewer in 9 of them(2 and 3 in the other 2). Its well rested and the schedule allows it be well rested with a modest work load from the starters. So that might mean scratching out a quick 3 or 4 on Boyd and Skubal is simply going to have to Skubal. Or, if someone else has another idea on how to win it, please, feel free to suggest.
