1984Echoes Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 San Jose Sharks, 17-15-1, 8-8-0 AWAY ESPN+ 1/4 7:30 PM Detroit Red Wings, 15-15-3, 11-5-2 HOME Quote
sagnam Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 It is a home game, so there is a chance. But they have been outplayed the last 2 games. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Smith and Middleton just had a heavyweight scrap Quote
slothfacekilla Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Bert gets a gift of a goal, tried to blindly pass it into the slot and the Sharks' goalie deflected it into his own net Quote
slothfacekilla Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Well Smith just got thrown out. I'm a bit surprised they gave him a game after reviewing it I can see why they did as well though. Thought the Sharks guy put himself in an awful position but Smith was too worried about hitting him hard that he hit him from behind and high. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Hopefully the Sharks power play is as bad as the Wings' is... Quote
lordstanley Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) Wings trying to kill a long, 5-minute major. 90 seconds to go in it. And Suter gets a shorty!! Edited January 5, 2022 by lordstanley Quote
lordstanley Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Bertuzzi with the Wings' 2nd short-handed goal since February 15, 2020, lol. Quote
buddha Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 seeing that replay of helm and glendenning gave me bad flashbacks. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Suter gets his second! Rasmussen with some tough plays but he set Suter up nicely there Quote
sagnam Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 What a sequence there, Rasmussen fans on a great centering pass but then a few later he puts a perfect pass to Suter. Up 3 again. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Can't say I expected this game to be so heated, Gagne fighting now Quote

buddha Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 sharks just gave up 8 to the pens. can the wings catch them? Quote
buddha Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 if youre yzerman, do you spend the money for hertl next year? larkin and hertl as your top two centers might look pretty nice... Quote
lordstanley Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Comfortable win that the Wings needed before heading onto the road for 3 games in California. Quote
