The first thing the Lions will be looking for is someone that fits the culture.

Reddick doesn’t fit any of the criteria. Can’t play de in detroit’s system, can’t cover from the  sam, probably isn’t a culture fit

If you had Maxx Crosby on your team would you be happy with that trade?

I would be. That’s arguably a better haul than what the Lions got for Stafford. Goff was seen as a liability at the time and he was unloaded on the Lions for additional pick. As a Raider fan, getting Houston wouldn’t do anything for me but that seems like a good haul for a non QB on a rebuilding team.

One thing for all of us to remember regarding Crosby is this is the Raiders.

Trying to think about what makes the most sense logically is usually the opposite of what they do.   Maybe Crosby is a real possibility.   Then again, maybe they don’t want to acquire extra draft picks to get their next QB.

truth.  the raiders are bad for a reason.

and that reason owns the team.

I don't see the Lions trading their backup QB away during the season.  If Goff would go down for 3-4 games, they'd be completely done for.  With Hooker, there is at least hope he's been in the system enough to win 50% of the games and keep them in contention.

Bah... just pick up Sudfeld. I'm sure he's available.
