It’s pretty amazing that Tennessee can lead the NFL in fewest yards allowed and still be 1-5.

the Titans top three corners to start the year were out in week seven. Jamal Adams has since been cut because he quit on the team, Chidobe Awuzie is on IR and can’t return until next week, and L’Jarius Sneed didn’t practice at all last week. Their linebacking corps is good not great to start with.

The run game will be tested because that defensive front is good. But ASB will be a man going up against boys in their secondary.

The came up in my youtube feed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs49p_PNJr4

It's the Lions at Titans game from 2012 that had the crazy 4th qtr where 46 points where scored. Stafford was our QB. Watching these highlights I'm amazed at how bad our defense was then and how... I guess slow is the right word... how slow our offense looked.

That was a typical SOL team. Recover an onside kick with less than 20 seconds left and then score a TD. I'm just surprised we kicked the XP to tie it. Go for 2 and win it! 😆

Well, we did go for it on 4th and inches in OT from the 7 yard line instead of kicking the FG to tie it. Now that's sorta understandable in that you SHOULD be able to make that and then you have 3 chances to win the game with a TD and still are able to kick the FG to tie it (that would give the Titans the chance to win via sudden death). So it seems like that's the right move. But this was still the SOL, not the BNL, so even though a team SHOULD be able to make 4th and inches, we fumbled the snap and didn't get it.

Did Stafford get hurt in that game? Shaun Hill almost won the game for us. And Megatron was a beast!!

I think he did yeah. At first I thought they just put Hill in there because they were getting blown out so bad, but then they would have gone back to Stafford later on and didn't. Then late in the "highlights" I think I heard one of the announcers say that Stafford got hurt.

It’s absolutely none of our business, but that article could not have been any more vague.

Though I suppose a doctor with those few details could tell the likely issue. Hope he’s alright.

He had melanoma in college. Did he have a new pre-cancerous lesion removed? That's pure speculation on my part, but it could explain things.
