How many times have you heard his name this year during the games? Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Maybe they're making room for Trinity Benson (so far the worst move Brad Holmes has made). Quote

I think they activated him last week so don't they have to waive him before assigning him to the practice squad? I think they're allowed to do that 3 times per season. Quote

He was active the last two weeks, but I would have thought they’d ditch an Allen Robinson before him. I don’t think they get him back to the practice squad. I’ll defer though they’ve more than earned it. Quote

I expect the Panthers or Patriots to pick him up. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted November 8, 2024 Author Posted November 8, 2024 Does not sound encouraging for Sunday Night. If you're watching it over 48 hours, you're not preparing for a game in those 48 hours. Decker is a warrior, but I expect Skipper or Sorsdol to get the start. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted November 8, 2024 Author Posted November 8, 2024 Campbell was asked about Aaron Glenn's glasses in the rain. Said "he doesn't need eyes to coach" Quote
RandyMarsh Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter aren't the ideal guys to have to face with a backup LT. Quote

Decker was out for the rest of the season then I'd put Sewell over there, but if he's only going to be out a game leave Sewell where he is, where he knows the plays at his position. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted November 8, 2024 Author Posted November 8, 2024 Here's the Texans. Will Anderson being out certainly helps. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Our secondary has looked really good. When are we getting Iffy back? This season? If they end up going through this stretch of @Dallas, @Minnesota @Green Bay and @ Houston with no losses, my goodness 16-1 or 15-2 is a very real possibility. I keep expecting the natural thing of losing some intensity against a team like Jacksonville or Indy or a fraying Bears team, but this team doesn't seem to ever do that. The only blemish, that Tampa Bay game, in my opinion, was from being out of sync, not having played in preseason at all and I will GLADLY trade that for an incredible run like this. This is such the opposite of my entire life as a Lions fan. And this is going to last for a few years. With this GM's drafting and scouting abilities, this may last for a decade or more. Just keep Jared Goff upright and healthy. So much of what this team does on offense is based on perfect timing that putting Hooker in there to carry it would probably be quite problematic, even though I think Hooker has a lot of talent. Brady was not a dynamic athlete, not that mobile, medium arm strength. At the end Peyton Manning could hardly move and couldn't chuck it more than 35 yards anymore, but still won a Super Bowl. It's all about Game Management. The athletic guys eventually fade. Lamar only has about 2-3 years of this kind of play in him, what will he be when he can't use his feet anymore? This is incredible. This can't be real. All that awful Karma snapped back like a rubber band in the span of 3 years. Holy **** is this fun. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Last time the Lions played the Texans was Thanksgiving in Patricia's last season. It was a blowout loss and gave us the infamous picture of Sheila holding her head in her hands. The next day, Quinn and Patricia were fired, and the franchise was changed forever. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Just read the Ravens drafted Za’Darius Smith with the pick they received from the Lions for Haloti Ngata. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 (edited) I was hoping we would go 1-1 in these 2 games, against Green Bay and Houston. I preferred the win to come against the Packers. So I consider us playing with house money, 2 wins would exceed my expectations. And Green Bay.....Sucks. 😆 Edited November 9, 2024 by Sports_Freak Quote
