In general, it's funny to hear some folks complain about how others can't see it their way when, no matter how much one explains their position or how much detail is provided to back up an opinion that differs, the same folks just ignore it.

Or when they are pressed as to possible issues with their own stances, they also frequently just ignore it.

Doesn't matter how much you try and argue in good faith, it happens continually from the same folks... They are what they accuse others of being.

I listen to both sides all the time. The left can never admit they do anything wrong. Harris is the reason the election was lost to Dems. No way Trump wins if the left ran a vanilla candidate instead of an extremist. Example: The commercial that Trump ran with her own words stating that inmates will get free sex changes in prison, was the kiss of death. If they roll out Harris again who is 0-2 once in early cut round of primaries and then again when she was installed. I expect a JD Vance victory.

When Biden does anything wrong the left becomes his biggest apologists (Yeah but he is still gonna fry 3 federal prisoners, so there!). He pardons his son, but, but.... I'm going to be honest, I don't think the world's richest person has the interest of the average taxpaying Americans (including people like myself) at heart. I think he has his own interests at heart.

I will wager this is probably the least likely of his accomplishments. I can see a few happening with a great deal of hoopla, but it will bog down and Trump will just  declare victory and the vast majority will get a path to citizenship.

We may not even have a speaker.  The worst that will happen is the senate confirming his crazy judges and we might see Alito or Thomas retire.

It was to stay out of jail. My thought also, but, he will let whomever strokes him the best decide the agenda for the next four years…. And this is dangerous. Very.

And more stacking of judges at state levels is also a horror story. And especially As a woman, I fear for the young women of the country who are in imminent danger of returning to second class citizen status. Childbirth death rates have already risen, and will continue to escalate.

and as for immigration reform, I predict in a very near future, where people will be asked (/required) to confirm their citizenship, whether or not they were born here, but if they look like they might have some other nations blood in them, they will be asked for their “papers“. and if you don’t ****ing see this coming, you’re turning a blind eye to the future. Maybe you’re not afraid for yourself or your children, but you damn well oughta be.

You are probably right that a lot of people are going to have to prove their citizenship.  That is not the fault of the incoming administration.  That was caused by Biden and Mayorcus for letting millions of people, including dangerous people on terror lists enter the country illegally and did nothing about it.  Now the incoming administration has to clean up the mess and it’s a very big mess that has endangered all of us.

I also don’t understand the fear mongering about women.  The incoming administration is not going to change anything with abortion. They are also going to help women in athletics by keeping men out of women’s sports.

And the day someone asks me to “prove my citizenship” and I’m not applying for a job or entering a country is the day I get arrested.  If you agree to that as part of your every day life then you are a sheep and deserve your fate. Of course white people will assume they are exempt.
