Thursday, the 10-1 Lions will host the 4-7 Bears on Thanksgiving Day as 10.5-point favorites, playing a first year starter in Caleb Williams.

Let's not allow history to repeat itself, please.

I think the Packers also had 4 starters out going into that game. They were banged up

I don’t think there’s anyway this game wasn’t circled after last year’s letdown.

Last year’s Turkey Day crowd was electric. They were ready to explode. It was playoff-esque. And then Jordan Love popped that balloon. I think they’ll be given their party this year.

Vildor yesterday gave me 2023 flashbacks. We need Davis for Green Bay and Buffalo. I don’t care if he has to miss the Chicago game to fully recover.

I'd rather have Davis miss the Buffalo game. Losing to an AFC team isn't the worst thing in the world. If this comes down to tiebreakers, you want division and conference wins.

That’s a very good point.  A Bears OT win yesterday over the Vikings would have been golden, with the Lions then being able to effectively wrap up the division if they beat  Chicago and Green Bay the next two Thursdays.

Lions are aggressive on defense, that will often leave the door open for a running QB to hurt you.

Lions are a better team and playing much better than they were this time last year. Last Thanksgiving, they were in the midst of a 4-3 stretch that included a blowout loss at Baltimore, a defense-free wild win over the Chargers, the improbable comeback win over the Bears after a 57-minute dud, the Thanksgiving spanking by Green Bay that wasn't as close as the 7-point final score suggests, and a spanking at Chicago.

How deeply are these inspected/scrutinized by the league?  Like if it says knee does the team need to supply documentation as to why, i.e. swelling, pain with extension, weigh bearing?

With that I know they have rules in place to keep teams from exaggerating or hiding injury. 

Just wondering how much might be a Monday, hurting a bit, got to say if they don't practice.

Montgomery and Decker were adamant about playing this week. St Brown is a new injury. This was also estimated. They could be holding them out because of a short week. I think since they all sustained an injury in game and we taken out, they were going to show up on the report.

Decker finished the game. Will likely play. Montgomery wanted to go back in. Will likely play. ASB didn’t come out of the game as far as I recall. Will likely play. TA and CDIII are the ones they really need. Full practice for TA. We’ll see about CDIII and Reader.
