Love Campbell and I completely agree with the call. Too often teams kick the FG, only to see the opposing team go right down and tie it back up or even win it with a TD. Go for the kill and trust the strength of your team!

I don't care that we converted there, that we reckless and dumb imo.

GB would have had the ball at their 30 with 40 seconds to go. Plenty of time for Love, even without timeouts, to gain 35 yards for a FG or even go for the endzone.

Windsorite, ex-Seahawk and lifelong Lions fan Luke Wilson is saying on Canadian Tv post-game that given the injury situation and plays being made by “random guys who have been there 2 weeks”, this is one of the grittiest wins he has ever seen. And that given the Lions went for it 5 times on 4th down, this is the signature Dan Campbell win. He says he can’t remember a greater regular season win by the Lions.

People are going to question Campbell about the 4th down call but I completely get it. Win the game with your best unit, get one yard and make sure that the offense takes the clock down to zero. I don't know if there's another coach in the league that would have had the giant balls to make an aggressive call like that

4th down at the end of the game? I say that pitchout on 4th and 1 was much more questionable. On his own 30 yard line...jeeezzz

The best GB can finish is 13-4 and with the Lions holding the tie breaker that means our magic number over them is down to 1.

Not that you ever want to lose a game but next week's game against Buffalo wouldn't be the worst game to lose now. If we have guys that are borderline ready to play in that game I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions erred on the side of caution and rested them. Even with a loss we'd still be in the driver's seat for the division and 1 seed.
