We'd all be hollering if we didn't convert. I think you take the points and trust your defense enough to stop a team that had no timeouts left. Whatever, we won and that's freaking awesome.

Not that you ever want to lose a game but next week's game against Buffalo wouldn't be the worst game to lose now. If we have guys that are borderline ready to play in that game I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions erred on the side of caution and rested them. Even with a loss we'd still be in the driver's seat for the division and 1 seed. 

I think I read we lose a tiebreaker with Philly? Head to head common opponents or something?

I'd be upset but I also would be rational enough to understand it. Our defense had not looked good at all in the second half due to how beat up they were, I'd rather take my chances of gaining the yard and for all intents and purposes ending the game than ask the defense who was extremely short handed to begin with on top of having their two best remaining defenders literally hitting the oxygen tank on the sidelines be tasked with having to stop a team on a hurry up offense from gaining the necessary 30 yards to get in FG range.

We should have the leg up on tie breakers with them now because of common opponents, sos and sov. Philly needs us to probably lose twice and them win out.

I think that is what I read earlier anyway.

That was an audible by Goff. I think the original play was a QB sneak, and the Packers had the middle packed up tight.

We might not be done with the Packers. I can definitely see GB out of the #5 or #6 seed beating the NFC South or NFC West winner and playing the #1 seed Lions in the next round. Lions should be healthier then.

Maybe I read if we lost tonight...we'll be hearing about scenarios this week. I hope the Vikings lose...🤣🤣

Lions hold the tiebreaker currently due to conference record. Both of the Eagles losses came to an NFC team. A loss to Buffalo and they still hold the tiebreaker.

It's hard beating a team twice in a season. 3 times? It can be done...

Absolutely hated that call. I didn't even mind going for it there but a QB sneak or a playaction and they get that easily I bet. Ben tends to get too cute at times, it can be frustrating with him at times.

This was a top five greatest game of my Lions lifetime.

The GRIT of this game and this team was something else. To beat a high quality opponent with that defense as battered as it was, with the added Alim injury in game, was one of the greatest things I've witnessed as a Lions fan. Couldn't be more proud of this team after an effort like THAT.

That's why tonight was so critical, Philly beat Green Bay. A loss tonight may have given Philly the tiebreaker?

They're almost perfect...that Tampa loss wouldn't happen now, this team is still surging. Nobody has ever witnessed a Lion team this good...yes, incredible.

Both the Lions and Eagles lost to Tampa, but the Eagles beat Green Bay so I think that would have given them the common game tiebreaker. What's also big is the division record. If they lose to Minnesota and end up tied, it will go down to division record. Lions are 4-0 in the division.
