The Jah Gibbs photo was absolutely staged and everything on that wall means nothing. A red herring to suck time away from the Packers preparation and add useless information into the heads of their players. I'm not sure if it was real or not, but this possibility has to go through the mind of LaFleur. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 It makes me think Melifonwu is not coming back. Adams is probably the Rodriguez replacement. He can play a hybrid linebacker spot. Adams has always been a box safety who is a great pass rusher. I really like the move. Quote

Is it the players or the schemes? Should we not worry about Green Bay or the Vikings? All of these defensive injuries...... Quote
holygoat Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 We should absolutely worry about GB and Minny. Why would we not? Quote

And we're at home? And we already beat them in their house? Or...our injuries will finally catch up to us and both teams catch us? Yes, worrying is warranted. 😆 Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Glad to see Davis is back at practice. Hopefully that means he plays on Thursday. Any updates on Iffy or Moseley? Quote

He and Campbell said they were just being cautious. Quote
RedRamage Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 This will be the first week since week 9 that has NOT seen only the Bears losing from the NFC North... Well, assuming that we don't tie with the Packers. Week 9: Chicago: Lost Detroit: Won Green Bay: Lost Minnesota: Won Week 10: Chicago: Lost Detroit: Won Green Bay: BYE Minnesota: Won Week 11: Chicago: Lost Detroit: Won Green Bay: Won Minnesota: Won Week 12: Chicago: Lost Detroit: Won Green Bay: Won Minnesota: Won Week 13: Chicago: Lost Detroit: Won Green Bay: Won Minnesota: Won Quote

All the Lions have to do is beat Green Bay this week and the Lions don't have to worry about them anymore. Easier said than done and it'll certainly be a tough matchup but a true championship level team wins this game at home and puts away the Packers. The Vikings are another story, it'll likely come down to that last game but the Lions are also likely to be healthier by then, not projecting for other injuries happening between now and then of course. The Eagles are the biggest playoff threat, to state the obvious. Perhaps the only team in the league with more overall talent than the Lions now playing to their talent level. It's clear that their late season nosedive last season was a fluke. Edited December 2, 2024 by NYLion Quote

Might be one of the most well rounded rosters we've seen in the league in a long time. Doesn't guarantee a Superbowl of course but it sure helps the chances. Also of note that Hutch would likely be #1 on this list if healthy and Anzalone probably should be. Quote
