ewsieg
If Craig sought out to find the worst possible folks to run his campaign, than I think it proves he has some remarkable leadership quality because he succeeded with flying colors. At the same time that's coming out, Bloomberg with some good news for Whitmer. https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2022-02-16/michigan-governor-gretchen-whitmer-leads-the-no-1-u-s-economy

CMRivdogs
Upton was probably targeted by the TQOP to be primaried. He'll be 69 this summer, a good time to step away and enjoy life.

oblong
Have been seeing ads for Perry Johnson.... he calls himself a "guru". His plan: Lower fuel prices Slow inflation Keep line 5 open Drill for american oil When I think of a guru it's usually a pyramid scheme scam artist on an infomercial or a guy at the head of a cult where he does perverted things. Mr.TaterSalad
So the Michigan Republican Party nominated Matt DePerno as their Attorney General candidate.

Mr.TaterSalad
Media Matters: Michigan secretary of state candidate Kristina Karamo: Beyoncé, Cardi B, Korean drama, and yoga are tools of Satan I get told that I get too worked up over the Christian Right around here. This simpleton could be the next SOS of Michigan and in charge of our state's elections process.

oblong
I think I've told you all that I know someone that was close to Craig in his job. My friend retired about 5 years ago and never heard from Craig again. Routinely they would talk nearly every day. My friend was on TV and then Craig texted him to ask for his support. He told me Craig really had no clue about MI politics, who was who, etc.

CMRivdogs
If the group is pushing for valid ID's when voting why aren't they requiring them for the petitions they are having signed. That would only make sense, right? Edited June 1, 2022 by CMRivdogs

Motown Bombers
So Buttigieg bought a vacation home in Traverse City. He can establish residency in Michigan and run for say Stabenow's senate seat if she retires. Michigan is more hospitable for Buttigieg than Indiana. Mr.TaterSalad
Assuming Republicans haven't fully killed off free and fair elections by 2024, I think Whitmer will be the next Democratic nominee for Senate after Stabenow.
