Never heard of whoever that is and it seems like it is for the best

She got fired from the Canucks for leaking to the media. Filed a human rights complaint against how her superior, Emilie Castonguay, a celebrated assistant GM of the Canucks apparently treated her. Had earlier been dismissed from the Devils. She's still only 26 and might be on the way to a hat trick!

Interesting, I somehow completely missed that story I guess.  She seems very invested in her social media presence, I'm happy I've largely given it up....

This was a great tournament.  I was all in from the get go and it far exceeded my expectations.  Excited for the future and the evolution of this format.

Congrats @lordstanley on the inevitable victory led by a slew of ridiculous plays from McJesus & MacJesus.   Figure SidJesus will also find a way to make an impact too.   This story was written the moment Canada lost to us in the round robin combined with the crappy way they played against Sweden and Finland.   This type of bounceback is just what they do every freaking time.

I wonder if Auston Matthews is going to show up...

I took that as rhetorical. We all know the answer.

We need Conner from Walled Lake to be supernatural to have any shot.

I fear I know the answer but a guy can dream lol.  Another reason I was annoyed Larkin was a fourth line winger but at least he will do what you need the fourth line to do!

I’m not trying to reverse jinx, but I expect a USA win, maybe 60% chance. Slight edge to Canada up front, slight edge to USA on defense, massive edge to USA in net and that could be the difference. Binnington is a half-goal to one goal handicap, imo.

And I was NOT all in from the get go but kudos to those who were. My skepticism turned to enthusiasm a game or two in.

Reservations at the sports bar I frequent were booked out by Monday night, the limited available walkins closed out around 10 minute ago. Wouldn’t know it by this pic I took 20 minutes ago but this place will be jammed to rafters an hour from now.

We’re asking the same about Mitch Marner. A big overtime goal against Sweden, sure, but completely invisible otherwise.

Something appears to be wrong with your poutine. 😎

The beer looks fine though.

Crazy that Kyle Connor started this tourney on a top line with Eichel & Matthew Tkachuk and ends it as a healthy scratch.
