By not winning the toss and going 3 and out that pretty much ended it.  Spotted them 14 and they get the ball back after the half.  They are unlikely to get a stop today with the scheme they are using.

If I was Buffalo I'd go for it, even if you don't get it the Lions may get conservative and very likely not gonna drive it down for a TD. So you may end up at a net 3 loss in points, kicking a FG and the Lions coming down and scoring is a net 4 loss.
