Lots of turnovers and bad shots in the 4th AGAIN although in fairness to him he had zero help out there. Could have used Ivey in those moments.

Yep. You know I've been on that bandwagon for a while now. His defense was outstanding (5 stocks, point of attack defense, weakside rim protection, rebounding), and he just knows how to make himself available on offense with cuts and smart plays even though he's a bit raw on that end. Blew a couple easy ones early otherwise his numbers would have been even better. That dunk was (almost) ridiculous.

This game also shows why Beasley should be starting. Having that pure shooter who can do it off the catch and off of movement is just a huge benefit to Cade and the team. It's no coincidence that Cade got 18 Assists tonight with Beasley in there instead of Ivey. I'd hate to bench Ivey and reduce his trade value, but if they aren't planning to trade him then that's the answer.

EIther way, the starting lineup needs some changes because it's been bad this season.

Yeah, Beasley-Cade-Thompson-Harris-Duren/Stewart should be the starting lineup.

I understand the stigma about not starting.  But Ivey would still get 30+ minutes a night.  I doubt his stats take a hit at all, and maybe go up since he is playing against bench guys.

To me, this is more about Beasley than Ivey.  If Beasley isn't around I would have no problem starting Ivey.  

I wonder if they wait on making a change until after the trade deadline.

Greg was talking about it on the broadcast.  He said plenty of guys jump that far out off of one foot.  He said almost nobody does it that far out off of two feet.

Sam does 30 minutes on Cade and a few other Pistons.

Says Cade is an all star this year.

Goes on quite a bit about Thompson and how he is used.  Said he is too good not to play, so they better figure out how to stop sitting him in the corner on offense.
