I don't think it helps them much. I kind of like it for Miami. You know they will get the most out of a guy like Wiggins. Quote
Hongbit Posted February 6 Posted February 6 It’s been 7 seasons since Jimmy Butler was able to play more than 60 games. He’s played more than 70 games only twice in a 14 year career. Quote
Hongbit Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Since I don’t have a graduate math degree, is taking the two worst players in this mammoth trade what the Pistons needed to do for cap purposes in order to take advantage of the earlier KJ Martin trade? Quote
Deleterious Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 I bet they do nothing then try the buyout market. Someone like Schroeder after Utah cuts him. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted February 6 Posted February 6 The stats may or may not support it but it feels like Schroeder always kills us so I'd be fine getting him if for nothing else then not having to see him the rest of the way. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Schroeder will be fine. But it represents another stopgap meassure. At some point you have to bring in good players to build the foundation of this team. They have their star. The clock is ticking now. Quote

Oh for sure, I mentioned last night that I see that by training camp of the 26 season as the deadline to get Cade some help or else he'll be demanding a trade. So 2 drafts and 2 offseasons. Quote
Hongbit Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I’m still confused about what yesterday’s trade for Waters and Richardson did. Quote

Helped Miami and Golden State, got us a free pick and since they were both minimum contracts (that can be exempted) kept all of our cap flexibility for today. 1 Quote
