Motor City Sonics Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 First win in SF since 1975 And have the Lions ever gone undefeated on the road for a full season? Quote

True. I’m glad the Niners scored that garbage time TD. A 12-point win would have flattered the Lions. Still tons of things to work on the next 6 days. Quote

The Lions knew this game didn't matter too much so they played it close to the vest and didn't show much of their defensive plays. Look for them to kick Minnesota's butt next week!! Quote

No lead is safe with this defense! The Lions could be 21 pts ahead of the Vikings going into the 4th quarter and I’d still be nervous. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Lions don't have a prayer against Minnesota next Sunday. They're gonna lose by 30. Quote

Jared Goff is one of the smartest QBs in the league, behind one of the best offensive lines in the league. Flores' schemes are really creative, unique, and stump a lot of NFL offensive lines and QBs. He had Love tied in knots on Sunday. I don't think they will have the same level of success against Goff. The Lions should score plenty. But will it be enough? Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Maybe being the 5 seed and playing on the road is better for this team. Quote

Man, you just know the media is going to run with the Vikings are the better team narrative this week and Dan Campbell wouldn't have it any other way. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Since that 5th INT against Houston Goff has thrown 22 TDs to 1 interception. 1 Quote

If your body knows that you have a bigger game in six days, you may only be giving your 80% without even meaning to. I also do think getting Anzalone back will make a difference, at least in the run game. Agree - I think Anzalone's loss has been a bigger deal than generally recognized. Lions will be blizted like crazy. And the Vikes have top tier coaching. Will be tuff to beat. Quote
