Since that 5th INT against Houston Goff has thrown 22 TDs to 1 interception.

Yet he's not even in the talks of MVP. There's about 5 qb's that are having epic seasons. Goff is another one.

3 home wins starting next week would be hard but doable, 3 road wins after a loss next week would be possible but very unlikely.

The home three, you're probably looking at beating Minnesota twice and maybe Philly or Green Bay. The road three, you're probably looking at beating Tampa Bay, Minnesota, and maybe Philly or LA.

This is obviously a really good team on the road. I don't think the drop off from the home three to the road three is all that significant.

Goff has been the one QB who has solved Flores defense.

Goff in general is one of the best vs. blitzes. So is Arnold. They disguise their blitzes so well though. Should be an epic game.

If the presumed favored teams win in the NFC on wildcard weekend (Philly, LA, and Minnesota or Detroit), Minnesota and Detroit will play again in the Divisional Round.

Kind of an interesting dynamic that the winner very possibly will play back-to-back games against the loser.

Looking at the potential brackets and whomever loses next week may be better off if they were the 6th seed vs. 5th. With the 5th you're going on the road against either TB/LAR who are kinda a wash IMO, but then if you were to win that game you are guaranteed to play on the road against whoever wins next week. So you're playing a team for the 3rd time this year and 2nd time in 3 weeks but you know it's on the road.

OTOH the 6 seed would either face Philly or get to host a home game against GB/Washington. To me just having the chance to host a playoff game would make the 6 seed more desirable.

The NFL re-seeds its bracket after the wildcard round, so the 1-seed plays the lowest remaining seed.

I would be shocked if Det and Minn do not play each other twice the next 3 weeks.

Good for Warner.  That’s exactly what I’d expect a guy to say getting his teammates pumped up before the game, even if they were playing for the Panthers or Jaguars.

So Goff was 26/34 for 303 yards and 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Purdy was 27/35 for 377 and 3 TDs and 2 INTs. Purdy's QBR was 85.5 and Goff's was 73.3. So Purdy has two more INTs, but 74 more passing yards, and that equals a 12 point advantage in QBR?
