MichiganCardinal Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 That's probably ball game. Can't afford to not score 7 on every possession. Quote
number20 Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 SF has plenty of time to walk down the field and score Quote
TP_Fan Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 St brown was wide open for the first down. Incomplete to LaPorta instead. This game is a morale buster for this team. Defense being absolutely cooked and offense feeling like they need to score 10 every drive. Quote
Nate7474 Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Late on the throw because he had him open. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 So the 49ers get the ball before the end of the half and will have an extra possession in the 1st half. Deferring did not gain them an extra possession. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Deferring didn't work, SF gets the ball at the end of the 2nd quarter. Put that into the books as another BIG fail. Quote
Jason_R Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I did not like that call. They needed the points. 1 Quote

number20 Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Purdy is going to air it out. Probably go after Arnold Quote

RandyMarsh Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Dumb play design, have Laporta and St. Brown running routes right next to each other on the short side of the field. Quote
holygoat Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 That's pretty much the game right there. The 9ers will 3-4 more possessions minimum, so that's another 21-28 points at least, and they might hang 50 on us. This defense blows so hard. Quote

TP_Fan Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 lol. This is ****ing embarassing. Has a coaching staff ever been this unprepared? Get the starters the **** out of there. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 The defensive line looks surprised when they actually get pressure and don't finish anything. The secondary just looks gassed. On the bright side, since the Lions never lose back-to-back games, next week is a lock if this game trajectory doesn't change. Quote

This defense blows so hard. you cant expect them to compete when half the defense WASNT EVEN IN THE LEAGUE a week ago. the fact that they are 13-2 is a testament to the coaching staff and the offense. the defense isnt an nfl caliber team. its a dam shame that it has to end this way, but no team can survive what the lions have gone through this year. Well, there's some common sense involved. Your defense has problems so you don't want to expose them and play from behind. If a team has a top defense, I could see it. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Clock should be running right now unless SF called a timeout. Quote

Could end up being a good tuneup game for Minnesota 👍🏻 Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Love Moody for what he did in Ann Arbor, but there is a reason you don't take kickers in the 3rd round. Quote
lordstanley Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I think Moody’s time with the Niners is over. Quote
