Deleterious Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 43% from straight away is really impressive. Obviously needs a lot of work still at the rim. 1 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 This applies to Beasley. Quote Non-Bird Rights: If the player has been with the team for less than two seasons (meaning the one-year contract was his only season with the team), the team can only offer a salary up to the player's previous salary plus 20% or 120% of the minimum salary for a player with his years of service, whichever is greater. His salary is $6M so they can offer $7.2M. Anything over that will require raw cap space. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 1 Posted January 1 This is actually against Orlando. The Charlotte game is Friday. Cade listed as probable with a sore knee. Tech is out for personal reasons. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 THJ sucks at almost everything. But that dude does draw a ton of charges. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 It probably won't work long term. But I love the Holland, Thompson, Stewart lineup. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 When Ivey is 4-4 from three you can play any lineup you want. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Pistons are up 16 at the half. Ivey has 16. Cade has 12 and 5. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Duren has caught 5 or 6 libs tonight. Ugh now he's grabbing his ankle. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Then Thompson does that. Strips a point guard at half court and takes it for the dunk. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Great defense by Harris. Pistons up 9 at the end of three. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 They have a stretcher out for Ivey. Both teams are standing around him and it is dead silent in the arena. Quote
Hart Posted January 2 Posted January 2 (edited) This teams need for a point guard is only going to get accentuated without Ivey. Edited January 2 by Hart Quote
Hongbit Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Damn. He was starting to play some pretty nice ball. Hopefully it’s a severely broken leg instead of all of his knee ligaments. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Good win. I would be shocked if Ivey plays again this season. Quote

Yeah, I'm hoping it's a clean break as opposed to a torn achilles or something which could have way longer than this season effects or be career altering. I have no idea what the Pistons can do now. Ivey was one of two players that couldn't afford to lose and with such a huge talent deficiency as is I don't see how this doesn't sink their season. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Get the team to start playing better along with Ivey looking better then something like this happens. Kinda reminds me of Brandon Jennings like 10 years ago, I remember he was coming off a 20/20 game and it looked like he was turning the corner a bit and the team may actually have something with him only for him to then tear his Achilles and essentially end his career. Let's hope it isn't nearly as debilitating as that was. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 2 Posted January 2 To be fair. He had a lot of chances to make up for mistakes last night. Quote
