MichiganCardinal Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 Frustrating game so far. Lions have been far better but a four point lead to show for it and being threatened. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Williams was wide open, and the Vikings line was getting a good push. Quote
TP_Fan Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Yep and they easily get the first down. Lions won’t get the ball back. I just can’t believe they didn’t hand it off. It’s just brain dead play calling. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 6 Posted January 6 When you have the best Oline in the league just pound the rock home for the first. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Just the wrong time to do that, no need to go for a big play in that situation. Just get the 1st down and chew up clock and get into half time with a likely 10-3 or 14-3 lead. 1 Quote

Get that 1st down and I’m sure sometime in the next 3 minutes or next set of downs there’d be a chance for a big play. Plus would kill clock. A potential 10-14 pt swing, just can’t afford that. Quote

Now they doing the same to us. Game changing decision. Quote
TP_Fan Posted January 6 Posted January 6 This is a disaster. Coaching matters. I cant beleive they didn’t run it. Quote

TP_Fan Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Lions have not run a play in the red zone. Offense has had a very bad half. And we will take the lead into half time. Well done Aaron Glenn. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 Hindsight is 20/20. I thought they should have just gotten the yard too but Jamo was wide open. Win some you lose some. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 6 Posted January 6 This offense owes this defense an apology at halftime, including Johnson to Glenn. As bad as this defense has been at times this year because of injuries, Glenn is calling a masterful game tonight. He's really done a great job matching coverages and getting pressure on Darnold all night thus far. Quote
Jason_R Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Out of bounds. Enough time to get in range for long FG. Quote
TP_Fan Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Boots it out of bounds lol. 10 yards and you’re in bates range. Quote
