Motor City Sonics Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Some guys will come back. I mean, it's okay to think Super Bowl. It truly is okay. Quote
TP_Fan Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Dr. Chao worried about left fibula fracture for Arnold. All on a play that was over and an overzealous Muhammad dives on his own teammate. Hopefully we get Carlton Davis back. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Got a long night ahead of me trolling relatives from Minnesota. Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted January 6 Posted January 6 If I wanted to sample some Viking tears, anyone got a link to a Skol type forum. I guess I could just search for it. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I can't ****ing believe we're 15-2, we've won the NFC North and won the #1 seed. All the years we had to suffer through SOL moment after SOL moment was for this feeling right here and what a feeling it is. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 6 Posted January 6 The Lions didn't play their best game, have numerous players on IR, lost the turnover battle by two, and won by three TDs against a 14 win team. 1 Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 6 Posted January 6 (edited) Drafting a FB in arguably the best QB class ever in 1983, Monte Clark praying the kick goes in, Wayne Fontes caught with cocaine, passing on Randy Moss for Terry Fair in the draft, Barry retired via a fax, Germaine Crowell stays in bounds to run the clock out, Marty takes the wind, Matt Millen, process of the catch with Calvin, Schwartz errently throws the challenge flag, the batted ball in Seattle, a ten second run off against Atlanta, Calvin retires, Aaron Rodgers hail mary, the Silverdome fails to implode, Matt Patricia gets blown out in his debut game on MNF against a rookie QB, Swift drops the game winning catch. All of the anguish and suffering through the years, it was all for this feeling right here. All for the feeling of winning the division and getting the #1 seed in the NFC. They should have released him the next day for being that selfish or stupid or both. On my list was the game vs. Carolina in 2005 Weinke to Proehl Weinke to Proehl Weinke to Proehl Weinke to Proehl Weinke to Proehl Touchdown. 21-20 loss. Quote

Seems like some fans @Mr.TaterSalad included that had a little SOL PTSD thinking the Vikings were going to win this game. Dan Campbell's Lions won't have any of that. Quote

I just thought without Davis and without a pass rush they were going to be out matched tonight. Aaron Glenn proved me wrong and then some today. These players silenced my doubts. Glenn coached the game of his life tonight. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Lions are 35-9 since they traded Hockenson, and he was given an opportunity to win. 1 1 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Campbell just said Arnold's x rays were negative but he is still pretty "tender", will know more tomorrow. 3 2 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Considering the Vikings loss to the Rams came on a Thursday after facing the Lions you can say that the Lions may have had a hand in some ways in all 3 of their losses. Quote

I wouldn’t have said that a month ago. But the defense’s struggles against SF and the Vikings’ mostly comfortable win over GB unsettled me. Edited January 6 by lordstanley Quote

Motown Bombers Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Really want to play Washington. Need to avenge that 1991 NFC Championship Game and 1999 Wild Card game. Quote
