We may need him as soon as next week. thing about a broken arm is you can do all of your leg work and a bunch of your torso work so he shouldn't have as far to be ready as a leg injury. Quote

Tonight would be somewhat meaningless. True. But if Bates had missed the 44 FG in the final minute at Minnesota, the Vikings would be 15-1 with the division and #1 seed sewn up and the Lions would be locked into the #5 seed at 13-3 Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 I think tonight’s game may shatter previous television records. Both of these teams are very likable for outside fanbases that aren’t composed of cheese. Quote

Yeah, I didn't expect to see him back until the mid or end of the playoffs. This guy is tough as they come for making it back this soon. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Am I wrong or a bad fan for thinking the Vikings are going to win? I don't think they're doing to blow us out, I think this is going to be a down to the wire type of matchup. A much closer loss than when we lost to the Bills for sure. I thought the offense was expected to carry an unrealistic load in that Buffalo game. But I still feel like we're going to lose and feel like a bad fan as a result. I can't shake feeling this way because of all our injuries to on defense, at critical positions along the front 7 and at CB. I just worry that Darnold is going to get a ton of time inside the pocket. With no pass rush I think our CBs will struggle to cover and contain Jefferson and Addison and they will have big games as a result. I'm not sayin both Jefferson and Addison are going to have 100+ yards each or multiple touchdowns each. I just feel really insecure about where this defense is at and that the offense is once again, as with the Buffalo game, going to be asked to do too much. Quote

I No. Their offense is almost as good as ours, and their defense is currently better. Home field could get us a false start or two, and that could be huge. I'm making no predictions on this game, because nothing would surprise me. 1 Quote

Motown Bombers Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I mean, the defense couldn't be worse than it was against the 49ers, and they still won. The 49ers have a solid defense. Their pass defense is pretty good. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted January 6 Posted January 6 The NFL has it all set up. The loser of tonight's game will go play in LA. Hmmm...another rematch with Matthew? This time, in his house? Quote

KnoxP Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Seeing some splotches of purple behind the MN bench but nothing extensive, like we’ve seen w/lions fans road games. We’ll see once it fills up. 1 Quote

number20 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Definitely need Za’Darius to show up today. He's been AWOL lately. 1 QB hit and 0 tackles vs the 49ers. Against a backup tackle. Pretty disappointing Quote
Sports_Freak Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Lose and we get to play next week. Win and we get a week of rest. Win-Win. Quote
TP_Fan Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Let’s ****ing go. Bury them. Like everything else this season, we will just do it ourselves. I don’t care who gets the ball first. Quote
