oblong Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Dems need to stretch the truth and in some cases exaggerate in their ads. Show the DOGE headlines with the job cuts and presidents fat ass golfing. Show the plane crashes. The unemployment and market graphs. Quit worrying about being fact checked by a newspaper nobody reads or a TV show nobody watches. It works for the GOP it can work for the Dems. 3 1 Quote

When the media wants to, they can bring down candidacies. They brought down Hilary and Biden. They were relentless in Hillary's emails and Biden's age. Quote

I know we're battling against people that get their news from memes, but there is no benefit to society if we evolve to just both sides exaggerating further than they do already. As I mentioned before, find anecdotal evidence and feel free to push that, but don't flat out lie. I'm already concerned about government norms being tossed away forever, this would only ensure it. 1 Quote

oblong Posted March 24 Posted March 24 If they don't win over those low information voters then the battle is already lost. The game is not played by the same rules anymore. The GOP are spread out shooting threes and fast breaking while the dems are doing set shots and pick and rolls. The purity of the game is lost. 2 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Dems won down ballot. They have beaten Trump candidates the past several elections. The one person who did beat Trump they threw overboard. Quote
romad1 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Kathleen Bachynski: "I left a voice message with my representative Ryan Mackenzie and with Senator Fetterman this morning to demand that they call for Hegseth’s resignation after yesterday’s unbelievable and inexcusable security breach. Senator McCormick‘s mailbox was full, so I’ll have to try again later." — Bluesky Quote

If Dems can cut a +30 margin to +4, it means Florida is in play again especially if the Cubans and Venezuelans turn on Trump. There's going to be a special election eventually for little Marco's old senate seat. Quote
Hongbit Posted March 26 Posted March 26 There are 271 Republican members of Congress. Any guesses on how many will come out and call for the removal of Waltz or Hegseth? Quote
oblong Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Like during confirmation hearings they will say some good things but eventually cave. Quote
romad1 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 When national security becomes a domestic issue...it is rare and can have surprising results. "Security moms" after 9/11. Maybe the previous time was under Joe McCarthy. Quote

When the GOP loses one in either place I'll pay attention. 2 1 Quote

I barely participated in any poll threads or sidebars this past election cycle. They just don't mean anywhere near what they used to. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I created a Signal account and emailed John James and provided my handle and asked him to chat with me since Republicans are more comfortable communicating on Signal and not through official government channels. 1 Quote
