Down to one black head coach in the league and all these black coordinators getting Rooney Rule interviews and Kellen Moore is still getting hype. I don't think any coaches should be interviewed until after the Super Bowl is over. It should be a rule. I think it has prevented some really good coordinators from getting a shot - because they are too busy with their own teams in the playoffs.............they shouldn't be penalized for that. There is no recruitment or national signing day early Feb. Let it all play out. You could make the argument that the one successful Belichick tree guy was Brian Flores (Bill O'Brien was alright until he became a GM). Flores was abrasive. So what, he did make Miami better - and fairly quickly. I hope he gets another shot somewhere like Minnesota, Chicago or Denver or another team that isn't at rock bottom. Teams will wait if it's the coordinator they want. The Lions waited for Patricia and they would have waited however long it would have been for Campbell. I think teams should look at coordinators from losing teams. I think Aaron Glenn is as good as any coordinator getting interviewed. Only hiring from winning teams is how you end up with Patricia. Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Rams already have more rushing yards in this game than the Lions did in the 2011 playoff game against the Saints. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Rams have already forced twice as many punts as the Lions did in their 2011 playoff game. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Arizona with negative 3 yards so far. Saints had 626 in 2011. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 In that 2011 playoff game, Johnson had 211 receiving yards. Next highest on the team was Burleson with 50. Kevin Smith led the team in rushing with 21 yards. It was literally Stafford and Johnson vs the Saints and they damn near won. They led at half and were only down 3 at the start of the 4th quarter. Lions scored 4 TDs that game with Johnson having 2 TDs and Stafford rushing for a TD. Will Heller of all people got the 4th TD. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 I think the Lions broke the Cardinals. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Rams have held the Cardinals to 0 first downs. 2011 Saints had 34. Quote

Jason_R Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Does Stafford now have more rushing yards in this game than the Lions had against Dallas? 😂 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Lions actually did a decent job running against Dallas. They had 90 yards rushing which was more than Dallas. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Cardinals longest play so far is 6 yards. Saints longest play was 56 yards. Lions also had no pick 6's either. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 The Cardinals have looked like a team that would get blown out by the 2021 Lions. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Matthew Stafford's playoff debut was much better than Murray's. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 These Rams receivers have done Stafford no favors. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Stafford may actually get benched in this playoff game. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Brad Holmes helped find Cooper Kupp in the 3rd round. I like that. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 A'shawn Robinson has a much bigger motor than I remember. I guess not playing for Patricia can be a motivator. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 If it wasn't for Stafford, the Rams would be completely unlikeable. 1 Quote
