lordstanley Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) Edit: Sorry, i thought this was the Commanders radio call they played at the end of the TV broadcast. update: Found it. Edited January 13 by lordstanley Quote
NYLion Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) The Commanders were my preferred choice of the possible divisional round opponents even though they have the most dangerous dual threat QB of the 4 teams. Lets be honest, if the Lions can't beat the Commanders, with all due respect to them, then they just aren't as good as we all think they are. It's like the Tampa playoff game last year, the Lions should be a strong favorite in this one. Edited January 13 by NYLion Quote

He is a baller but the constant knocks on Baker revealed themselves in this game with the botched handoff then the botch on the snap on 3rd down on the last possession although the center played a part in that mistake. He's always struggled with turnovers and it cost them in this one. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 13 Posted January 13 This was the only good team Washington has beaten all year, except for the Eagles and their backup QB. Quote

But instead he's gone through Hue Jackson, Freddie Kitchens, Kevin Stefanski, Matt Rhule, Sean McVay (for four games), and now Todd Bowles. It's insane that he's still around the league, let alone being as strong a leader as he is. Quote

Yep, and only played 6 games against teams 9-8 or better. 2-4 in such games in the regular season even including the win over Philly’s backup QB. Beat the Bengals by 5 in Week 3. Lions were 7-2 in games against teams 9-8 or better. Edited January 13 by lordstanley Quote

When I look at their schedule, they played a very easy schedule. Quote
RedRamage Posted January 13 Posted January 13 They mentioned this during the Bills game: Chiefs and Lions record vs. Bills: 0-2 Chiefs and Lions record vs. the rest of the NFL: 32-2 That's kinda amazing. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Idiots on sportscenter said Detroit plays late game Sunday. Wrong...it's on Saturday. Quote
lordstanley Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Not sure who I'm cheering for tonight. My order for the NFC Championship game from scariest to least scary would be Philly, Minnesota, LA Rams. I would love to play the Rams in the NFC Championship game. But I think Minnesota has a better shot at knocking off Philly than the Rams would. I think I'll be going for the Vikings tonight but sometimes I don't even really know myself until the game starts and I see how I instinctively react to a big play. Quote

Minnesota and LA are tied for me, but I’d rather play either of them before Philly. No NFC Championship Game will ever be easy, you’re playing a team that’s won two consecutive playoff games. But we’ve beat both of those teams already this year. With Nakobe Dean out, I think the way to beat Philly is going to be on the ground. Both Minnesota and LA are mediocre on the ground though. Intuitively, I think LA is probably more likely to be Philadelphia, so I’ll pull for them. I also think it would be funny to watch Vikings Nation collapse. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I know it's a losers mentality but since I think no matter who we would face in the NFC Championship Game should we get there isn't going to be easy I think about who I would hate to lose to if that were to happen. I don't want to see Stafford and the Rams go to another Super Bowl cause then all we would hear about is how great the trade worked out for the Rams and how smart McVay is. The Vikings I would hate to see go just cause I hate them but also it would be frustrating knowing that we beat them twice already but the game they won ended up being the one that took them to the Super Bowl. So the Eagles win by default in this case in my eyes. I may change my mind depending on how the two teams look tonight but I thought the Eagles looked beatable after watching them against the Packers so I don't think they would be clearly tougher to beat then a healthy Rams team or the Vikings who we will see for the 3rd time. Motown Bombers Posted January 13 Posted January 13 This could be the last chance for Minnesota. Kwesi has only drafted one starter in the past three drafts. The Vikings only have three picks in this draft. They also have a lot of free agents, not just Darnold. I just can't believe they keep winning despite drafting so poorly. It's going to catch up eventually. 1 Quote

The Eagles losing Dean was a huge blow IMO. It was right after that happened that Josh Jacobs was able to get that long run. He’s a focal point of their defense. Quote

In addition to the Vikings having been the beneficiaries of a great deal of luck the past few seasons, Vikings fans are annoying, and I'm not sure the Rams really have any fans. Quote

Have to admit I cheered when the Rams completed that first long reception. Dominant drive by LA to start the game. 7-0 Rams. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 Stafford is channeling his inner Jared Goff so far. Quote
Jason_R Posted January 14 Posted January 14 It was a beautiful TD throw. Minnesota’s win against GB was their Super Bowl. Quote
Jason_R Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Bad decision by Stafford. Yes he try to throw it, but you have to wrap that up and take the sack. Quote
