I find old screenshots on my photos memory app from early 2017… and damn. Lotta references to people I thought at the time were on to something. Didn’t she say someone was going to be executed? Like John Roberts or something. Quote

CA has the fires, but if CA gets serious they actually can do a lot to reduce their fire risk - but there is nothing the gulf states can do to stop the hurricanes from getting stronger as the atmospheric energy levels go up. The most... charitable explanation (not charitable in anyway) is that he may be looking to treat FEMA like a protection racket, where people have to bend to his will in some way to get what they want out of the feds when a disaster hits. But stepping back for a minute, how does that make us, collectively, any better off as a country? Does letting California burn uncontrollably, or (hypothetical scenarios) leaving earthquake damage in Washington or damage from a tornado striking the Chicago suburbs unmanaged, do these things like this help our country in anyway? Do they help the economy, do they make us great again? Americans in different parts of the country approach politics differently and disagree on a lot. It's the way it's always been and the way it probably always will be. But when disaster strikes, the partisan **** shouldn't be a factor at all. We learned this with NC.... politicizing these disasters does nothing to help people on the ground. And it only divides us. Edited January 23 by mtutiger Quote

It’s always someone else’s concern, until it isn’t. And to those who were affected, they’ll say “well they weren’t doing nothing anyway”. thats the core difference between the new GOP and Dems. One side understands you need to help people sometimes regardless of who they are. How many times did we see Biden in Florida after some catastrophe? Weather. That condo that collapsed. I saw him sit next to Ron Desantis, when he was the presumptive favorite to run against him, and grab his hand and say “you will get what you need from us”. the GOP today thinks empathy means weakness. In reality they are weak men hiding behind fake toughness. Your camo and guns and trucks don’t make you tough. You are weak. 2 2 Quote

Maybe it's because I'm a civil engineer, but I always remember the Surfside condo collapse.... not even a natural disaster, just a building that for a variety of possible explanations just collapsed. Literally something that could happen anywhere in the United States. FEMA needs to be there in all of these cases regardless of politics. Quote

No need to "take the L" again like you did here. We all know you're a liar. Even AI knows you're full of malarkey. Keep on lyin. Descriptions of Thousand Currents as an organization which "handles fundraising" for Black Lives Matter were therefore accurate. As recently as June 24, the date on which the Capital Research Center published their report, the Thousand Currents website listed Susan Rosenberg as vice chair of the organization's board of directors, describing her as a "human and prison rights advocate and writer." The entire "board of directors" page has since been removed from the site. According to tax documents obtained by Snopes, Rosenberg sat on the board of directors during the 2015 and 2016 financial years, and was elevated to the position of vice chair in 2017. We asked Thousand Currents for the dates of Rosenberg's tenure on the board, and as its vice chair, and invited the organization to comment on the ongoing controversy, and will update this story if we receive a response. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/blm-terrorist-rosenberg/ Edited January 23 by Tigeraholic1 Quote

CMRivdogs Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Wait a second. I was told all vaccines are bad by 2nd Asst Pres Kennedy. What gives? https://www.mobihealthnews.com/news/trump-unveils-500b-project-stargate-build-ai-infrastructure-us Quote Ellison added that one of the "most exciting" things the group is working on, using the tools that Altman and Son are providing, is a cancer vaccine. "All of our cancer tumors, little fragments of those tumors float around in your blood," Ellison said. "So, you can do early cancer detection with a blood test, and using AI to look at the blood test, you can find the cancers that are seriously threatening the person. So, cancer diagnosis using AI has the promise of just being a simple blood test." Beyond that, Ellison said that once a cancer tumor is gene sequenced, a personalized mRNA vaccine can be designed for every individual to vaccinate them against that cancer. Ellison said the vaccine can be designed robotically using AI in about 48 hours. Trump says the project will almost immediately create over 100,000 American jobs and "ensure the future of technology." Quote
