He's just saying what many of us are thinking. The way the last few days have played out in regards to the Ukrainian conflict and European Security more generally is a stain on this country.

It's rare when you have Pence, John Bolton and Bernie Sanders all saying the same thing. Because it's not a close call. I just wish some actual *elected* Rs would find their manhood and say what they truly think.

As we’ve seen here, the maga have no manhood.  They are brainwashed cucks who foolishly believe they are on the right side of history.

Wow, I believe that is the first time he has ever stood up to Dump with dancing around the issue.

It's been on my mind recently, but it is honestly is incredible that a movement that has been thrown the "C" word around for much of my adult life to go after people they perceive as not being sufficiently loyal to Republicans have basically "C" worded themselves for DJT.

If they did they'd have to find real jobs in '27. I'm starting to believe Trump and company either have dirt or have made dire threats on a few supposedly good folks. Ones like my Congress Critter (Va 3) are life back benchers and Congress is a better gig than selling insurance, especially in a red district

That's probably a bridge he shouldn't try to cross. There are 7 easy votes on SCOTUS to oppose that. Even folks here have talked about being able to get things past 'his' court would probably agree that won't go.

So much for states rights.

Ugh. Even a lot of people who initially were against congestion pricing now say that it has worked surprisingly well-less congestion, safer streets for pedestrians, and a faster trip for those who have to drive there. I knew it was toast when the governor of NJ begged Drumpf to intervene.

He’s so weak and envious of his hero. Remember when he said he would end the war on day one?

Only we remember that, because only we care.

Perfect time to….decimate the FAA workforce

Air travel is going to crater. I have flights scheduled for March 7 and 9 to Florida. The flight in is into West Palm, which I'm pretty sure will be the last airport to lose air traffic controllers. The flight back into Chicago, though, is anyone's guess. That might be where MuskTrump goes first.

Life changes have caused us to choose to drive more in general, but we have shifted our plans from flying to driving for one of our trips this year. Not totally because of this (prices were a bigger consideration), but it wasn't helpful in our decisionmaking process.

Both dirt and threats work well only if they're accompanied by payment and perks. If it were only the dirt or only the threats, they'd have people backed into a corner where they'd have nothing to lose, and people with nothing to lose are loose cannons who are hard to control (outside a bullet to the head, which is usually the last resort). Threaten them, yes, of course, that's a given ... but pay them well, too. Make them complicit. Keep them inside the tent pissing out instead of exiling them outside pissing in. That's how the mob gets their soldiers' hearts and souls as well, instead of just their fear.

I have to make the decision whether to drive to Texas for the SABR convention versus fly. The decision is coming more into focus ...

This should be standard opposition party argument

I made a tangential argument to someone I work with recently on this point.... part of why I don't think Trumpism truly is "conservatism" is because of the first part of that word... "conserve".

These guys aren't looking to "conserve" anything as a counterbalance toward more progressive views.... they are looking to destroy. And there's absolutely no guarantee that whatever fills the vacuum of what they destroy will be any good to the average person.

Trump and Musk are spoiled little brats who want everything now. They don't understand these "inefficiencies" are there for a reason. Probably to prevent mistakes and potentially save lives. Those psychos only care about their own lives and their money. It's up to the rest of us to take care of everyone because these narcissists won't. It's been the same story all throughout history. Why do people fall for this over and over again?

I hope the media ignores this distraction.  It will just make his detractors look petty.    Let's stick to the real issues like letting Musk control all of the govt's finances and taking the side of an enemy in the war against an ally. Yeah, I know they won't.  The media loves BS like this.
