I also look forward to people saying things like "save some for John and me" instead of "save some for John and I."

Huh?  This is ‘Merica.  If I want something, forget John.

So, an acquaintance was telling me he bought a bottle of bourbon which was to honor President ####.  He has not yet received it.  He’s gotten a few messages about it being on its way but delayed for this reason or that reason or the other reason.  He told me it’s gotten to the point where he’s ready to just cancel it (good luck with getting your money back).  As he’s telling me this, I remember a few months ago when he tries to justify his vote for President #### by saying we all know he’s a con man, which I didn’t really understand how that benefitted his position.  But I politely kept my mouth shut.  Maybe if he updates me that he has lost his cash I’ll remind him that we all know he’s a con man and that’s just the cost of doing business in association of him.

Is it too early to foresee foreign countries boycotting the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles with how our co-presidents are treating foreign policy?

I've been considering this. Add what happened in January and the increased risk of recurrence given recent policy changes.

this would be perfect if the games were going to be during his term, but who knows where we are in '28?

I don't think Guantanamo is big enough for all the end-a-sentence-with-a-preposition violators though. Would have to find another place to send them to.

Full disclosure: I'm one of the ones who would end up in Guantanamo, if that becomes a crime.

It's possible.

Unless, of course, Denmark or Canada buys California...

Due to concerns around Trump's tariffs, increasing Trumpflation, and the volatility of his economic policies, companies may have been pulling ahead on a lot of purchase orders. With the pull ahead of orders and the manufacturing that goes along with it, companies, I would presume, are trying to get ahead of the tariffs. Which means we'll see a dramatic slowdown afterwards. Is this an unfair assessment?

This is the right way of thinking but I don’t think that’s happening.   Companies aren’t sure if he’ll cancel the tariffs at the last minute like he did last time.

I'm more worried about making it to the 250th celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026

Only a month on the job and he needs a vacation. It must take a lot out of a person to deliberately torpedo a former ally

It's probably also tiring for them to torpedo countless federal jobs.

Every Democrat Rep needs to skip Trump's speech. Hold town halls instead.
