I've never hung out in MUSKCAR waiting rooms but have in other dealerships getting service (the dealership we use here has a nice work/waiting space just off the showroom). Mist of the time I've been there the sales critters are either standing around shooting the breeze with each other or basically twiddling their thumbs.

I really don't think one phone call would ruin their day or disrupt their routine.  Besides, the sales guy called Motown back, if he was actually busy that never would have happened

I sort of take the Luigi approach to how Tesla is being handled these days... I don't condone violence or harassment in regards to the brand, but it's also really hard to generate a lot of sympathy toward Tesla. Particularly as it's CEO is busy trying to wreck our government.

Folks can dance around it all they want but I have no shame is saying I don’t give a flying **** about some douchebag Tesla salesman.    I’d waste his time and not think twice about it.

**** him and his nazi boss.

The "Luigi approach" opens up a can of bullets

Wouldn't it be great if the people with power, money and influence had emotions, integrity, morals and honor?

Or a sense of shared ethics that made them hold off on hurting others because it would reflect badly on them at the country club.

Speaking of parasites...

From the CNN story:

One watchdog group said her videos could run afoul of rules restricting the use of government property for personal benefit because, while in the workplace, she was using a website that pays content creators commissions from the clothing brands they promote.

"Could run afoul of rules".

Or maybe could not.

Let's have a debate about it.

CNN is really struggling to capture the moment.

They never did, but they used to have sanity.

Good news for Mexico and the Caribbean

Mad PINTO Donald trying his best to tank Red States' economies.

On the bright side, maybe I95 and I75 will be less crazy (except around Dictrict of Trumplandia)

Honestly, I'm having a little trouble trying to figure out whether the overly cautious language is from CNN or the "watchdog group" itself.

Here's the full section contemplating it:

According to federal regulations, government employees must not use public property “for other than authorized purposes,” with exceptions for “de minimis personal use,” such as sending a personal email from a government account.

Donald K. Sherman, the chief counsel for the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, said Pinover’s posts appeared to violate rules prohibiting the use of government resources for private gain, and would not be considered “de minimis.”

The rules don’t “give cover to a federal employee using government resources to subsidize their private business,” Sherman said. “It is highly problematic that while dedicated civil servants who want to work for the government are being fired for all manner of dubious reasons, or are being forced out by this administration, that someone at the agency leading that attack on the civil service is using their government job for private gain.”

Sherman, the guy from the group, says the actions "appear" to violate the rules and that using a government job for private gain is "highly problematic", which is all really watered down language to describe using taxpayer-funded resources to help your side hustle. So, he's not helping by swinging and missing at the alarm bell.

Leave it to the cited federal regulation itself to unequivocally affirm that public property MUST NOT be used for private gain. That seems pretty clear to me.

Let me see if I understand this. States that now receive Federal Funding for schools will now have to make up the loss on their own. Don't they already decide where the funds are spent, curriculum, etc?

Now they are tasked with making up the difference, which means your state and local taxes are going up.

Don't expect federal taxes to be cut unless you buy a piece of PINTO TRUMP.

I wouldn’t do this myself because it’s not my style, but I think the practical joke is fine. After all, regardless of whether he is MAGA, the salesman is presumably a willing and eager representative of the Tesla company, not an captive being pressed into service against his will. And it’s not as though the joke is picking his pocket or breaking his leg. After all, the drop in Tesla sales as a result of FElon’s noxious policies had already been picking the guy’s pocket even before the prank call. This is one of the ways the marketplace expresses its dissatisfaction—even better than a simple down arrow on a sales chart, actually, since it provides a vital piece of information as to why sales are plummeting. If the salesman can’t take this relatively gentle kind of heat, there are any number of sales positions with reputable companies he could take instead. Big boy pants applies here.

Yeah, that's why I said it was only kinda rotten and not totally rotten. And it IS pretty funny. Lol...I assume many of those Tesla salespeople are going to be looking for work very soon. As are Ford and GM salespeople. As well as factory workers. Trump and Muskrat are going to destroy our economy. We need another Democratic POTUS to come in in 2028 to repair the GOP damage....again.

1000 men will be fighting over the right to write code for one of the Musk automated drilling machines that will test his theory that the Earth's mantle is a good place to raise his children.

I think Mars would be a better place for Muskrat, and all of MAGA. I would even donate for a one way trip for them. And Musk's rockets? They blow up....no big loss.
