Oh, I guarantee he’s probably been sharing **** via Signal since the day he was confirmed.
It’s the “big man on campus” syndrome. He needs to brag re:his access to “secrets” to pump his ego.

Pete leave the DOD credit card at the bar again?  Oh well, he's gonna sleep that off.   Good thing I found the keys to the Pentagon in that snowdrift.

The entire DOD is part of the codependence now.

as the child of an alcoholic parent i have ZERO tolerance for this jive.  I do not put up with it from coworkers.  There are not two sets of rules: those for the lovable drunk and those for everyone else.  F'em all to Hell.

I totally agree that there should not be separate rules for the "lovable" drunk (not that anyone involved is lovable in this case!)  I have never liked the popular idea that people should be excused for bad behavior while drunk.  They should face the consequences the same as anyone else.

the frustrating part of being in a family of one is all the counselors approach you with the "its a disease" rational.   "hey mom, will your disease allow you to pick me up from school or are you going to ram the Suburban into a tree again today?"

It is a disease and it should be treated, but ramming your car into a tree is not more excusable because you are drunk versus being distracted or whatever other reason you slammed your car into the tree.

Somebody I know does and says awful and vile things when he drinks a lot. I told friends last year I don't want to be around him if he's around and drinking... so they just stopped inviting me to stuff instead of addressing his toxic alcoholism.

I know it doesn't make any actual sense but Ihink I'm going to go ahead and blame Trump for the Pope's death.

He did pass a short time after meeting with JD Vance.

Just saying

All the J-6ers had trials, a right to council,a chance to offer defense, call witnesses, appeal the verdicts and sentencing. How many of those caught up in ICE raids had raids had the same privelage.

And by the way how many J-6ers sported tattoos that normal people could construe as "gang symbols"?

I only hope that he had encounters that were more positive after meeting with the Bedbug.

NPR is reporting they are looking to replace and there is this

I see speculation that the Senator from Iowa Joni Ernst is a leading candidate.  Not sure if that means a special election or its some the govenor or wilbur the pig get to pick situation.  Or, if its whoever is projected by the moonbeams onto the sacred parchment.
