I follow a cosplay influencer on social media who left the country. She said something insightful today.  Our government system is based on the honor system.  Who will stop trump?  Even if congress fought him. And the courts agree. Then what?  Who physically prevents his people from accessing a system? The FBI?  Looks like they are compromised.  Congress can scream and have hearings…. But in terms of enforcing the rules that’s under Trump.  We are passed the point of cooler heads prevailing.  Federal money for elections?  Nope. Not paying that. Sorry. There’s a border emergency.  Want Social security checks?  Ok. Give me a third term. Even if he’s impeached or voted out he will just pardon everybody involved or JD will do it because “Biden did it”.

It's why the midterms are so critical. If MAGA really did find a way to steal elections, we should know about it then. After less than a month, I see massive amounts of people unhappy with the GOP and MAGA. And it will be getting worse once the people on the fence get him with the upcoming inflation. Don't let Trump backing down from the tariffs, for now, fool anyone. Many companies took on major debt by over ordering products that may have been taxed. Shipping, storage and taking on the extra debt will be showing up in their 1st quarter profits. Trump's threats have caused damage, whether he follows thru with them or not.

Well, that's another option.  We saw the tech bros line up to endorse him in the last few weeks and while they are influential, CEO's of all sizes of companies are going to fall in line until his decisions start hurting them.  And this little stunt, even if it ends up being just a stunt, is going to effect them down the road.  Canada and Mexico will, without a doubt, begin looking to strengthen trade ties with other countries over favor with us.  In fact anyone that trades with us is going to wonder if they are next. 

CEO's hate instability and they want to make decisions based on how the countries they operate in deal with them.  They are now lost on what their own country will deal with them and now realize the other countries they operate with are questioning how to deal with US companies too.
