It did not start on 1/20/25 lol He's already missed on 10 and 11. Are Americans going to hold him to his other promises? Or will he keep blaming Biden for the next 2 years, before the idiot is impeached? Quote

President Musk takes office and then shortly their after the federal government is set to potentially purchase his **** Cyber trucks from his company. Tell me how this isn't a conflict of interest. pfife Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Its more than a conflict of interest, it's brazen corruption. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I hope every major act, music, Broadway touring groups, symphonies, etc cancels shows there for the next four years. There are other venues in the Washington area and across the country that are not under Orange Tubby's thumb. I also hope major donors like David Rubinstein and the Mellon Foundation also pull their donations. Quote

chasfh Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Obviously, there's one and only one answer to this problem: shut down the USDA so we don't have to hear about it. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Egg prices near me have been holding steady so far. I was in Kroger yesterday, and I couldn't help but notice how empty the shelves were. I don't know if it was I just caught them at the wrong time, but I was getting early COVID vibes. Quote

I like the Kroger brand parmesan cheese and it was completely out of stock. Pasta was bare, potato chips, dairy, meat, cleaning supplies, pretty much every aisle I walked down was bare. Not completely empty but lots of big empty spots. Quote
chasfh Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Eggs at the Kroger near me have been decently stocked, although they've had a standing limit of two cartons per purchase. I make egg-white omelettes for my wife and me for weekend breakfast and I go through an 18-pack each weekend, plus, I hard boil a pack of twelve so i can eat two egg whites each morning during the week. That's basically 30 eggs per week. So, yeah, I'm egg-forward and this is kinda sorta affecting me. Quote

romad1 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 USDA going away is going to increase the supply of disease-ridden eggs. Quote

I don't see same problem at Jewels or Pete's. I went to the Kroger at Hoover 11. It's really gone downhill, but this was bad even for that store. I usually go there when I just want quick things like parmesan cheese. They did have plenty of Coke in stock despite it being on sale. Quote
oblong Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Was it empty because of the storm we got? People panic buying on Tue/Wed. Quote

It's possible they could have bought in advance. I was there at 5 PM yesterday. It didn't seem any busier than usual. All I know is I can blame Trump. I substituted Kraft for the Kroger brand and it ruined my pasta. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I've gotten better responses from my 13 year old grandson, who is probably smarter than Trump, Musk and Petewhatshisname combined Quote
