Do you agree with the Germans. Free speech will get you fined or arrested? Sounds like you would agree with this.

Sounds more like a Trumpers lament to me. Once again why do you answer a question with a question.
It just shows your not a serious person

According to most measures, Germany is a freer country than the US, and that was even before Trump. I'm not even sure why we are fixated on whether you can wave a swastika in Germany. Just a reminder: naziholic is not a nazi. He just defends and supports them.

You asked if I want speech censored. I show you Germany who will arrest you for speech. We live in America where we can say whatever we like. I like saying whatever we want.

I don’t question the existence the malificent, but I’ve also met a lot of what I really would consider ‘salt of the earth’ people who just so misunderstand the world and who have been fed such a stream of nonsense for so much of their lives that they just believe too many things that are not true.

True. I've met my share of people who tell me to stay out of certain places 'for my safety' who don't realize I live in the very place they're telling me to avoid. They've only seen/heard about 'certain people' who are in the area.

But the guys you voted for would love to censor and imprison people and organizations that disagree with them. How do you square that thinking and not come across as a hypocrite

Or a major troll. You tend to say one thing and support another

Going to court is now considered a dictator move?

The press core is a privilege, the prez can allow or disallow anyone to participate.

Unfortunately you are right that it's a privilege, the president doesn't have to talk to anyone.  I'm sure you were on my side when I have complained about the likes of Biden or Whitmer never holding press conferences though.  Another difference here though is that he's picking and choosing who he gives this 'privilege' to based on if they are friendly to him.  Whether an actual violation of the 1st amendment or not, a true advocate of the 1st amendment would not like to see that happen, regardless of the letter next to the president allowing it.

There’s no need to be wary of slippery slope situations. That’s lazy. If Germany says “you know we have a lot to atone for historically so the price we pay is you can’t be a nazi or do nazi ****” then so be it. If the US outlawed the use of the N word or other slurs against blacks to atone for slavery I would be fine with it too.

MAGA is trying to eliminate black history. Talk about free speech. Germany still teaches the holocaust.

Yes, it is a dictator move, as he is using the power of the state to threaten the media's business with legal action based on spurious charges in order to prevent full, open, and transparent news coverage of him and his administration. Not for nothing, that is also the idea behind preventing most news media outlets from fielding a correspondent at the White House. Using the power of the state for personal gain in such a manner is the textbook definition of corruption.

So the court system works for Trump, got it.

Why didn’t Biden send US troops in?

Lack of courage. Scared of Putin.

I would've sent 95-ish K troops in immediately after Ukraine pushed Russian troops out of the north and out of Kherson city (across the Dnieper River. And declared a No-Fly zone over all territories west of the Dnieper. That means American  air defense and Air Force squadrons to enforce it. But that's just me. YMMV.
