The markets tanked on the news (down 2%) and the Atlanta Fed is forcasting a 2.8% *contraction* in GDP for the 1st quarter. The last one does not seem credible without a lot more unemployment though....Maybe that's coming. The Federal Reserve doomed the Biden presidency by leaving money too loose during Covid, they may have doomed the Trump Presidency by loosening too fast under Biden. Quote
