yes I remember that family dollar incident very well.  They took her further east near Southfield fwy, to the wooded area by the train tracks and shot her.  It was pouring rain and I drove by there around that time.  Haunting.

That whole Westborn mall is a ****hole. I go to that Kroger only if I need a few things that I can carry in a basket and the other places are closed or it's something I can't get.  they have  ton of self checkouts.

The arab population has really migrated in Wayne County to the west.  Huge population growth.  Dearborn Hts might be a higher % than Dearbown now.  Then further west into Westland, Garden City, and Canton.  Canton especially since they have newer construction homes and subdivisions.  We could have a culture clash between them and the Indians.

They themselves will joke that 'we're taking over'.  They say it in a way that they move to get away from their fellow people, but then they follow.

A realtor i was working with tried to show me houses near Warren and Southfield. My sister lived in that area back in the 80's. I told her no way, she insisted it was a "nice area." No, it isn't.

My sister lived on Abington Street back in the day. Even back then, most homes had barred security windows and doors. That's usually a bad sign. Granted, I haven't been back in that area in 40 years but...no thanks. And BTW...I found a new realtor...😆

The West side (meaning say Schafer west to the city limits) of Detroit collapsed pretty completely due to white flight triggered by fears about busing and block busting practices beginning roughly in 1970 and accelerating throughout that decade. But even before that, the lower west side was already considered a 'rougher' part of town and we knew any number of families trying to figure out how to avoid sending their kids to Cody HS

Vintage Susan. Maybe she thinks Trump “learned his lesson” this time.

Reaction to overreach is our best way out this  The deep red states are hopeless, but there are plenty of states that will turn blue in the mid-terms if things get ugly.

Won't matter.  Because here's what happens.  About two weeks before the midterms they end Social Security and Medicare.  They just end it.   Riots in the streets.   Martial Law enacted, Elections suspended indefinitely.     Book it.

Maybe they figure out how to deny these benefits to people that didn't vote for him but not others who did.

I have no more ****s to give. I've tried warning people about Trump for the better part of 10 years. I'm done. Sometimes you just got to let the toddler touch the hot burner.
