I would’ve liked them to bring back JRM but don’t think he’s worth that contract.

Mr.TaterSalad
That's a great commercial. At least he didn't say that it was the worst phone ever, run by the worst carrier ever, with the worst reviews ever. He had every right to say his old phone was crappy (the Lions teams he played on), the network was the worst (Lions organization is the worst franchise in major pro sports history), and the reviews were terrible (fans like me who bitched incessantly that he wasn't capable of getting it done). RandyMarsh
I wonder why Watson didn't want to go to Cleveland?(well other than it being Cleveland) They got some nice pieces on defense including arguably the best pass rusher in football and on offense they just got Cooper and have a premium rb in Chubb. Also I believe the Browns have a fairly big fanbase throughout the country. I think they are in much better shape and more attractive than the Saints and Falcons for sure and possibly the Panthers as well. I'm guessing the massage parlor scene in Cleveland is not the same as New Orleans or Atlanta.

It's the perfect year to trade down even if Hutch is there at 2. I don't think any of the prospects in this draft would even be top 10 last year and this draft is deeper than last years IMO. The problem is that other teams know this too so I don't see much motivation for a team to trade up. Either way, the Lions are set up pretty nicely with 5 picks in the top 97(now that we know where the Golladay comp pick falls).

Chubb, Top corner Ward, 3 number 1s and a number 2. It’s funny that there’s was the only trade package publicized and he didn’t pick them. RandyMarsh
Allen Robinson to the Rams for 3/45 with 30 guaranteed. Sounds like they still want to bring back OBJ too. I'm sure we'll be getting the 32nd pick again next year

It's just the idea that a good offense makes it -- your words not mine -- less stressful for a defense has never been proven true. It's coach speak that isn't based in facts at all. I don't agree. Teams that don't control the clock OR turn the ball over a lot, lose. You never heard of a defense getting exhausted? Lose the turnover battle, field position battle or time of possession and you lose more often that you win. Football basics.

It pushes it back to later (which the Saints have done over and over) but it can be done. I read Green Bay was 41M over the cap. And the Bucs were 11M over. Sports_Freak
5 hours ago, RandyMarsh said: A good offense doesnt magically make a defense better per se but it can help the overall numbers by keeping the defense off the field more. After all the more time your offense has the ball the less time your bad defense is out there. Teams that lead the league in turning the ball over usually end up with double digit losses for the season. Some can win by losing the time of possession but those are the ones with the better defenses.

RandyMarsh
Chargers get Khalil Mack, Broncos get Russell Wilson and Gregory, now the Raiders get Adams. I seem to recall a couple other big names going there too but I'm too lazy to go look it up.

RandyMarsh
Packers are getting the Raiders 1st and 2nd in this draft. May not be good news if you're in the WR at 32 camp cause I wouldn't be surprised if GB doubles up on WRs with their 2 1st rounders.
