Brilliant and revolutionary. I think it's a sign we're going to go heavy on DL (and Edge) in the draft. Maybe Brad cooking to move up? Quote
Cruzer1 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I think it's smart to sign Maddox, with his new ring and all. Have him show it around the building. Quote
buddha Posted March 29 Posted March 29 lions are projected to go from $40 million under the cap this year to $40 million over next year. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Goff’s cap number jumps to $69 million next year. He will be restructured and save a lot of money. They also didn’t put good years on his contract so they can add void years. St Brown also has a significant jump in cap number. He will be restructured too. It seems intentional the Lions built in these big cap numbers for next year. I believe the NFL is set for a new TV deal which will raise the cap. Quote
4hzglory Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) I did see they restructured Raymond to save 1.55 mil on 2026 cap hit Edited March 31 by 4hzglory Quote
AlaskanTigersFan Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I'd be happy to have him back, opposite of Hutch. At least a rotational guy. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted March 31 Posted March 31 (edited) Does Cominsky retiring give them more cap space to work with now? Edited March 31 by Mr.TaterSalad Quote
Motown Bombers Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Cominsky was an unrestricted free agent. He was already off the books. Quote

I know we batted around the idea of increasing the yardage on this penalty to slightly off set losing the auto-1st down. Does anyone know if the Lions proposal had that? I don't think it did but didn't know for 100% sure. If it didn't, I wonder if including that would have had more people in favor of it? Quote
