Whatever was said worked exactly how the Pacers player wanted it to. He got in Stew’s head and now everyone in the league knows he’ll fall for it. He hurt his team. He has to learn to control himself because now it’s going happen quite a bit and in more crucial situations. Nobody in the league has it worse than Scotty Pippen Jr. If he can handle the things said to him on the court then Stew can too. Quote
NYLion Posted January 30 Posted January 30 (edited) The fact that the Pistons are near .500 and have beaten the likes of the Knicks and Rockets with guys like THJ, Harris, Duren and Ausar (love Ausar but he can't shoot in a shooting league) in the starting lineup where the Pistons are shorthanded against just about every team is a testament to how good Cade is. This is the Wizards with Cade Cunningham. Edited January 30 by NYLion 2 Quote
Betrayer Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I'm with Blaha. I really don't like this Indy team. Quote

They were extolling the virtues of Beasley's trash talking but discredited Haliburton for the same shenanigans. That seemed very unprofessional to me. The game was tough enough to watch to begin with, and then bad broadcasting to boot. Is it OK for that punk to threaten the Pistons or their TV crew? There HAS to be more to this story, Blaha doesn't go off on opposing teams players without good, very good, reason. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Nobody got mad when Beasley was dancing all over MSG. Hard for me to get too upset when the Pistons do the same stuff. I can think of a way to stop it though if they want. Quote

Kelser and Blaha were both out of character last night. It was strange to hear them like that. Quote

The last Pistons jersey I owned was actually a Chauncey red jersey. I remember reds back in the early mid 90s. I like the font on these and the slight acknowledgement of teal in the more recent ones. "We're red. We're blue. OK, yeah, we also had a teal phase that we'll admit to." 1 Quote

It was pretty shocking. Quote
