Hongbit Posted February 12 Posted February 12 If you knew nothing more about this man than this video, you’d think he was one of the most thoughtful, level headed, and articulate players in the NBA. Quote

You can be thoughtful and articulate and still have priorities and values that other people think are nuts. Quote

The headline and the content are completely different. Congrats to NBAFilmSessions, they got people to click. Quote
Hongbit Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Agree. That is total clickbait as he never says anything about Luka or his future for next season. What he said about the fans and the team is why I posted it. He’s exactly right and says it in a meaningful way. Very opposite of some of the storied sound bites from his past. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted February 12 Author Posted February 12 People are saying SGA will be the first $80 million a year player. Assuming he doesn't get traded like Luka did, his next extension will have seasons in it where he makes over $80 million in a single season. I think they said 2030-31 would be the year. Luka would have had the same deal if he wasn't traded. SGA has also been traded but remains eligible for the supermax because he was traded on his rookie contract. You remain eligible in that situation. Quote
