They are being way too careful. Too bad they didn't do this before the election or spent three years attacking Biden. It's just the greatest hits tour. They aren't do much to register voters and get them to vote for Democrats. They don't even mention the three special elections that could flip the house to Democrats. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted March 24 Posted March 24 AOC is in her element when Republicans are in control because she's a good activist but lousy politician. Come election time, I doubt all these white people at her rallies will vote for Democrats. Quote

That's means people going to see her at a rally are that malleable politically that they could make the effort to go see her (she is a smoke show, of course), and then not support her in the elections. I'm seeing a lot of demand for forceful arguments made without fear. I don't see that from the current Dem party leadership. I also see a lot of concern trolling by the media about what the centrists want. We -- calling myself a centrist -- want the opposition party to fight! Quote

I also see a lot of concern trolling by the media about what the centrists want. We -- calling myself a centrist -- want the opposition party to fight! Bernie Sanders always drew big rallies. Leftists hate Democrats. AOC and Sanders are talking about Medicare for All for the 10th year in a row. Whoever wins the nomination, won't be campaigning on Medicare for All, they will get tepid endorsements from Sanders and AOC at best, and leftists will sit out because they aren't pure enough. We have seen this before. I'm not sure how holding rallies is fighting. Nothing is changing. Dems across the country are having town halls. AOC has been in congress for 6 years, passed 0 bills, voted against things like capping insulin, and sided with Marjorie Taylor Greene over Russia. She's not the fighter we need. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Sanders went all around the country campaigning for Hillary, Biden, and Harris. He did dozens and dozens of rallies during these election cycles. 2 1 Quote

Bernie Sanders drew the 2016 primary out well past the point where he was cooked, dragged his feet on an endorsement, said the election he lost by 3.5 million votes was rigged, and finally had a tepid endorsement of Hillary in July. He endorsed Biden in April, three months before Hillary. He did support Biden but that makes sense since his base is white men. Sanders held off on endorsing Harris and sought influence before he would endorse her. Quote

Funny how Trump picked up Sanders talking points like rigged elections and NAFTA and hired one of Sanders closest allies to run our national intelligence. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) Bernie Sanders campaign co-chair Nina Turner said voting for Biden was like a half bowl of **** and supported uncommitted and voting third party. Edited March 24 by Motown Bombers Quote

She has a podcast that reaches a lot of young progressive voters, many of whom voted for Obama. Also don't forget Cornel West. 2x Sanders supporter and current fellow for the Sanders institute who did what he could to rat**** Hilary, Biden and Harris. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted March 24 Posted March 24 David Sirota, who goes back decades with Sanders and was most recently his speech writer, has criticized Biden non-stop and said the working class would be deeply harmed by Biden despite Biden being the most pro union president. Quote

Doing a quick background on her, and she's another rat****ing leftist. First, she doesn't even live in the district she's running for. She didn't even live in the state until a year ago It's one of the bluest districts in Illinois and has a longtime incumbent. The incumbent is not some conservative dem, she's a member of the progressive caucus who wanted to not use the word manufacturing because it wasn't inclusive and gender neutral. This Kat person used to be a Republican. Why is she carpetbagging in Illinois and taking on a progressive incumbent? Because this incumbent apparently wasn't sufficiently anti-Harris over Gaza. She also has no political experience and goes straight for congress. Quote

pfife Posted March 25 Posted March 25 MAGA skull****ing everything that's good and you're here with Brie Brie posts from 2017. Get it together Quote
Motown Bombers Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Brie Brie is still spreading this **** today on her podcast. It's the type of people Bernie Sanders attracts. Bernie Sanders is out there saying progressives shouldn't run as Dems and run as independents. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Guess I'm no longer boring, you're in tears laughing. Quote
Tiger337 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Maybe the mainstream dems should get out of the 90s and merge with Bernie and AOC. Quote
