These 20 something ashats doing Elon and Trump's bidding expect people to text Social Security? It's already hard enough to get them on the phone.

Between this and the ignoring of the courts, illegal deportations and dissing Republican appointed judges ......

I'd continue but have a cruise next week and don't want to run afoul of the Brown Shirts, yet

if this is true, the backlash in Fla (and a lot other places) should be huge.

They’re not replacing phone support with text. They’re replacing it with nothing. The whole idea is to get you to give up trying to get your full benefits when they start stiffing you, so they can do something else with that money instead.

Here is it on the correct non-oligarch (as of today) microblogging app

Dropkick Murphy is right. Only a rat turns his back on his friends for no good reason, and that’s what Trump led America to do.

More on Dropkick Murphys.

I'll be doing a deep dive on The Pogues and the bagpipe Green Day cover band Green Daye shown in the first season of "Community" next.

Judge Finds Musk’s Role in Dismantling Aid Agency Likely Violated Constitution

It appears to be the first time a federal judge has acted to constrain Elon Musk, a top adviser to President Trump. The judge also ordered agency functions be partially restored, though that relief could be temporary.

Vancouver International Auto Show removes Tesla, citing safety concerns at event | AP News

Quote

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Tesla has been removed from participating in this week’s Vancouver International Auto Show over safety concerns, the event’s executive director said Tuesday.

Eric Nicholl said in a statement that the show asked the electric carmaker to withdraw because of a “primary concern” for the safety of workers, attendees and exhibitors.

Nicholl said Tesla was provided “multiple opportunities to voluntarily withdraw.”

“This decision will ensure all attendees can be solely focused on enjoying the many positive elements of the event,” the statement said.

The show at the Vancouver Convention Centre begins Wednesday and will end Sunday.

The automaker’s removal comes after so-called “Tesla Takedown” protests over the weekend, including in Ottawa and Vancouver, that denounced Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his role advising U.S. President Donald Trump, who has infuriated Canadians with talk of making Canada the 51st U.S. state.

They probably mean picketing and acts of vandalism but they should mean the cars are unsafe to drive.

Apparently in multiple interviews he said he thinks we need to just wait it out until the old GOP returns.

Putting aside the old GOP sucks too, but its absolutely delusional that the old GOP is coming back.

At what point is Elon Musk going to sue the people of the United States of America for not buying Teslas and the company’s stock, the way he sued advertisers for not advertising on X?

I've lost who you are referring to here(?)

But who-ever it is I agree he's dead wrong. The old GOP took it's cyanide capsule a long time ago as they swallowed hard on it and took the short term win while destroying the system by refusing to impeach Trump the first time. Everything since has just been one long denouement for any remnant of the 'old guard.'

He's mentally imbalanced and taking more and more drugs.  So, its really a question of what is the most irrational self-defeating thing he can do...he doesn't lack for imagination in this area.

Among space fans there's a lot of arguing about the whole "stranded" and "rescue" operation regarding Butch and Suni yesterday.

For those who don't pay attention to those things, they were not stranded and not rescued.  They flew a Boeing Starliner in a Crewed Test Flight, one of the final, if not final, steps to certify Boeing in the Commercial Crew Program.  They didn't like something on the service module so rather than take an unnecessary risk, they kept them on the ISS and they became part of Crew 9 which was coming up to the ISS a few months later, minus 2 astronauts.  THis was all done in the summer of 2024.

Now we have Musk and Trump trying to take credit for things already decided and Musk saying things like "We offered Biden a chance to go get them but he turned it down".  That would have been a dumb decision, wasteful, and not really practical as it's not like driving a car.

And yet even legacy media failed to tell this broader story, which plays into Donald's desire to weave his web of lies.
