He sounds like yet another person who sold his soul for power. Quote

Hongbit Posted Saturday at 02:17 AM Posted Saturday at 02:17 AM More fail as usual. Mark Cuban doesn’t own the Mavs anymore. He sold the majority stake. Making your post even better, the idiot that owns them now is one of Trump’s biggest personal donors. 3 2 3 Quote

ewsieg Posted Saturday at 05:22 PM Posted Saturday at 05:22 PM https://www.thebulwark.com/p/ezra-klein-the-resistance-back-from First Bulwark podcast that had a glimmer of hope in awhile. Not sure I agree with Ezra, but he makes some points on why it might be good that Trump doesn't have guardrails like he did in his first team. Essentially the argument is Trump's stupid decisions could sink him quick in the public, whereas he had folks to save him from that last time. 1 Quote

The question is whether his public is more interested in fixing the economy than in making libtards cry. The latter is everything to them. Quote

The thing that worries me is that while the ship of state is sinking because of the unfit captain and his unqualified first mate, many close friends and relatives will be drown because of budget cuts that removed life boats and vests 2 Quote
oblong Posted Saturday at 08:15 PM Posted Saturday at 08:15 PM I have a hard time believing that people who confirm the likes of Hegseth and Gabbard and eventually Bobby Jr will do anything down the line. If the House flips they could impeach him a couple more times but I don’t see the senate flipping in ‘26 and the Senate, I don’t think, is required to have a trial. His people can break the law but the FBI won’t go after anybody. The US atttorneys won’t investigate. Judges won’t be able to stop everything and trump will just pardon people who do break the law. All norms are gone. 1 Quote

People are going to argue this, but this is 100% right.... there are people that voted for Trump on the margins, who aren't "Red Hats".... in an election that was decided by about 200,000 across three states in the rust belt, these kinds of folks are who decided this election. And they may have a much more circumspect view of Trump than his die hards do. Quote
