It was 71-29 at the half?

Are the Pistons just physically wearing teams down?

I could understand it since nobody plays physical anymore

The just clowned the 76ers and the Bulls.    They are beating up on the bad teams.   Gotta start beating the better ones.  Need to beat Indiana.

Wait, they play Chicago on the road on back to back nights?

It's mid February and they don't play Indiana again?

WHO THE **** IS MAKING THE NBA SCHEDULE?

Settle down, champ.  Del had this covered on page 1

It's something new from the G-League that they are testing this season.

Each team will have one instance this season where they play consecutive games on the road in the same city.  Its an attempt to reduce travel.

We host Washington for consecutive games on March 11th and 13th.

That was a fun game last night. I haven't seen a defensive beatdown like that since the Going to Work days. At the beginning of the season JB said that we would tune in to this team in February and be able to say, "That's Piston basketball." He wasn't lying. That was Piston basketball.

Monty's total fail makes it a tough comparison, but to be where they are now after last season JB clearly has this team playing greater than the sum of their parts. First Piston coach I can say that about since Larry Brown. We can question his ability to adapt and strategize in reaction to the opponent come playoff time, but to start with they needed internal development and chemistry. JB's doing a "Coach of the Year" level job at that. He may not win it, but he'll certainly get a lot of votes.

Ausar was looking like Giannis-lite against the Bulls. Done laughing? Ok seriously, with his build and athleticism, it's not a bad idea for him to watch some Giannis film for the footwork. He can be an absolute terror on both sides of the ball and is an All-Star in the making if he keeps improving. This is why I've been calling for a Cade/Ausar backcourt since pre-season.

After the 2 buzzer beating losses, the Pistons seem determined to make the last couple of minutes of games meaningless.

They did allow the Hornets to come back from way down but we quickly built the lead back up.

1-4 vs Pacers this year.  That’s a nice gift from the schedule makers that we don’t play them down the stretch.

As of now that is the difference between us being the 4th seed and getting HCA against possibly them and being the 6 seed and having to face the Knicks.
