Hongbit Posted February 11 Posted February 11 As if the game wasn’t big enough, he comes Matty Ozempic on the sidelines again in the state of Michigan. 1 Quote

Deleterious Posted February 13 Author Posted February 13 There is a bill in the Alabama state house that would exempt NIL earnings from state income tax. Quote

Deleterious Posted February 28 Author Posted February 28 UNC will be on Hard Knocks this year. Sounds like they couldn't get an NFL team to commit. I think this is the off-season version Quote
casimir Posted March 9 Posted March 9 So, Eddie George just pulled up into the “neighborhood”. That’s kind of interesting. Quote
Hongbit Posted April 12 Posted April 12 This is a story if they redid his contract after the season and is now coming back for more a few months later. It’s not a story and idiocy on Tennessee’s part if they expected him to play on the same deal. This is a year to year game right now. We are in the Wild West with no guidance, no regulations, and no guardrails. The game has become infested with these slimy NIL “agents” that have taken over the financial side. Quote
Hongbit Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Nico and Tennessee to parting ways. Expect it to be a battle between USC, Miami, and Alabama on who can offer the most. I could also see a dark horse like Washington or UCLA jumping in with a big offer. Quote

Deleterious Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 I figured he made more than that at Tennessee. Sounds like he made a mistake. Quote
Hongbit Posted April 16 Posted April 16 If true, the story that he (or his agents) asked for more money before the playoff seems to be turning off most of the top teams. It’s a brutal ask from a football coach standpoint but maybe not from a professional athlete. SEC championship game and potential playoff run could be 4 extra games that he’s not getting compensated. Hongbit Posted April 17 Posted April 17 (edited) I thought the plan for the NCAA was to walk away and let chaos prevail so everyone realized how much they’re needed. I’m still waiting for part where they come back to the table to save the day with a plan to govern paid college sports. I’m ready for it. Edited April 17 by Hongbit Quote
