Wins and losses don't matter, but anybody who has big game is surely going to have a breakout season this year.  Anybody who has a bad game sucks and needs to be DFAed immediately.

The only AM radio I have anymore is in my car, so I guess I'll just drive around a bit and listen.

Tork is going to begin his audition first game out of the box. I’d really like to see him have a really good spring for everyone’s sake.  

We got into the hotel here in Lakeland at 10 o’clock last night. Met a guy this morning in the breakfast area from Rochester, MI. Super nice guy. He’s come down every year for years. We talked Tiger baseball for 30 minutes. Half the enjoyment of these trips is meeting other baseball fans.

Shouldn't you be able to hear this on the Audacy app?? 1270 AM Detroit simulcast there.

With Lakeland Hills Boulevard under construction and down from four lanes to two outside of Joker Marchant Stadium, the Tigers are advising fans heading to the park Saturday to use alternate entrances off Bella Vista Street (south of the park) and Granada Street (north of the park). There’s also a Tigertown Express shuttle to and from the park, with pickup locations at designated spots around town.

I never know if streaming the game is actually allowed.   Years ago it was not, they'd have to go to other programming.  

 

But you know what, there is something about driving on a sunny day with baseball on in the car.   I am willing to waste a little gas for that.

First time I have ever heard of Jahmai Jones or Brian Serven for that matter. Did they pick them up off the Lakeland backfields?

Yeah unless it changed or is different for Spring Training I don't think you can stream the games on that app. Worth a try though.

They are spring training invites.  This could mean the Tigers think their development can benefit more from being in major league camp.  In this case though, Serven is a catcher and they need a lot of catchers in camp.  In Jones' case, they might be looking at him as potential depth in case there is a injury early in the season.
