Motor City Sonics Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I don't know if anybody posted this yesterday. I forgot to and was running errands. That was a massive failure on my part and I am sorry. “Lo, the Winter's passed, the rain is over and gone, the flowers appear on the Earth, the time for the singing of birds has come. And the voice of the turtle is heard in our land. 2 Quote

Used to have him on our radio show on WTKA in Ann Arbor. We talked to him after he blew out both knees while jogging in Kansas City (I think it was KC). He has to miss a few games but he was nice enough to still do the call with us while he recovered. Talking to him off the air he's the same guy we hear during the games. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted February 23 Posted February 23 One hour til I can watch baseball on TV again ! This is so exciting. All my out-of-house errands are done for now. Quote
casimir Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Seems weird to me to be playing spring training games in MLB home ballparks, but props to the Rays for loaning theirs out for this game. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I know they're just spring training unis............ Quote
Sports_Freak Posted February 23 Posted February 23 (edited) Jahmai Jones story in the paper today was interesting. His dad and his brother played for the Lions. And it said he crushes LH pitching as well as plays several positions. Edited February 23 by Sports_Freak Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Casey hitting 97, 98. That seems to be a little more than I remember from him. Quote

Established pitchers use ST to work on new pitches but Mize has to show he deserves to be a starter. Spring performance matters... Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Watching the movie Major League where Charlie Sheen's character throws 97 and they were blown away. What year was that, 1988? Now that's just kind of average. A nicotine product advertisement? Really? Is that only because I am watching on a fire stick? Quote
